Three weeks past surgery and I'm going home Saturday. All is as expected. Therapy is really intense but I'm keeping up. I can walk with a cane now but not without yet.
YAY for going home. You will sleep so much better in your own bed. Remember, you can put a pillow for that new hip/leg to rest on if you sleep on your side. Don't bend over yet and have a friend or two drop in to check on you during the day.
So much going on, Bee. I have no advice, just encouragement. I don't know of many women with your strength. And your support system. I have no doubt Saturday can't come soon enough. So many out here thinking of and rooting for you! Reach out! Pam
I'm glad you get to go home tomorrow. That will be a wonderful thing. I know you've worked hard, but you are smart enough to know if you don't do the physical therapy the operation will be compromised. Good for you.
Have a fabulous day, honey. Big hug to you and my very best to Roche. ♥♥♥
Well, I'd say YAY! but I saw something about feeling drained about a drain on fb. Bugger. But I know you and this is but a blip in the radar, yes? You betcha!

Isn't it wonderful to walk with a cane? I've gotten used to using the stupid cane. It's like having a third leg.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day Bee. See ya.
