Day 29
These photos are completely unretouched in any way. I have on no makeup at all other than lipstick. I am posting them for the readers that have asked me to do so that they may see the process in completely honesty. I welcome all readers and all commenters but to the anonymous one yesterday that said my eyes look weird I would say yes, they do.
It was a photo four weeks out from surgery and the process is much longer than that. Eight weeks is the minimum that you should look pretty good and a year to be finished.
So ease up a bit scooter please. And either leave your name with snarky comments or feel free to move on if you wish. It's not polite to do otherwise. Or maybe you just aren't a polite person? I guess that's possible in which case "bless your heart honey". (PS - I'm pretty sure you live above the Mason-Dixon line and maybe the harsh winter just got to you.)
So moving on, sorry to the rest of you and thank you for reading. I hope you aren't bored with this process and the photos, I promise I won't do it every day for the whole year! And the reason for the facial massage is the fluid and also the fat they injected in my cheeks. I don't know if I'll have any more of them or not, the three I had were included and any more will be $75 each.
My Keurig went out again, I called them and they are sending me another new one. They are sorry but they have to upgrade me because they don't make my old model any more. Shame, huh? I love Keurig!
Today I am subbing in a canasta game in my building's card room. I would rather go to the pool but they needed someone and asked me so I said I would and it might rain anyway in which case it's a good thing to have something to do where I don't have to leave the building.
I did a bit of shopping at the outlet mall yesterday, shoes and makeup. There are so many stores I have yet to check out, I really must get busy!
Have a wonderful Saturday y'all. I will too, for sure. And today I am not...
Well Bless her little heart.
ReplyDeletele sigh
The only thing I see is one eye is still a bit move swollen than the other.
I think you look Fabulous. Not at all like some of the ones I see around here.
Pulled so tight they can not smile.
anyway....
I like seeing how much you have improved so my vote (if we are voting) is keep up
what you are doing !
cheers, parsnip
Ah, so that's why the massages!!
ReplyDeleteIt's been raining and cloudy and drizzly and damp here and it's about to spoil my good humor. We had a tease of a sunbeam that broke though for a few minutes yesterday. Nice while it lasted. But today is Saturday and I am picking up KFC to bring to the Swamp! We'll have a lovely little luncheon picnic with the Colonel and my parents. They both adore KFC and my Dad never joins us when I take my mother out to lunch. But he'll eat this! And then he'll take his nap. Bless his heart.
Have yourself a lovely day, too! big hugs xoxo
Dear Bee...pay no attention to the snippy commenter. I find following your progress very interesting. And, you do look wonderful, and I am happy for you.
ReplyDeleteI am also excited about your upcoming cruise ! It is so nice that you take all of us along with you.
Kathy
Don't let the turkeys get you down, Bee. People who make anonymous, snippy comments in a public forum---which a comment section is---are practicing a form of bullying. If they're too ashamed to leave their name with their comment that should tell them they shouldn't be doing it.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm off to get a much overdue pedicure!
Hi Bee,
ReplyDeleteYou are looking great and don't let negative people bother you.
I love Keurig too. I just learned from you that in the future if mine goes out I'll contact the company. Excellent product. Have a fun filled weekend with wonderful; friends.

I'm still a little peeved off from what Anonymous said yesterday. I don't understand, you have lost near 100 lbs and you have fixed your teeth and now your face. What more do they expect you to do. You my dear ,are both beautiful and wonderful. You are to me an exceptional person. To this day I'm so happy that I was able to meet you and consider you a great friend. There, I said it. Now I'll let that be the last about Anonymous.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful, beautiful, brilliant sunshine Saturday my gorgeous friend. See ya Bee.

The opinions of your friends and family are all that matters, my dear. And your own, which is THE most important. Pay no attention to an especially anonymous! comment. Pffft. Carry on.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs, honey...
We think you are beautiful through and through!

I think your eyes look gorgeous Bee!
ReplyDeleteWell, bless her heart indeed. I think you look great and I remember the puffy eyes and face for the first three months or so. They one day it was all gone and things were wonderful. You're progressing just fine honey. Hopefully the snarky commenter will move along. It isn't polite one bit.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and my very best to Roche. :)
Sorry--I didn't mean to be snarky. I guess I don't realize how long the whole process takes. I thought you looked so pretty before. Mary Sue Utley--New Jersey
ReplyDeleteHey Bee, I just got your comment from my yesterdays ( Friday's ) blog and I agree. You are a very bad, bad, girl. Ha,ha, ha,ha,ha,ha.and I love bad girls. Ha,ha,ha. See ya my gorgeous friend.

Bee, I think people will like seeing your progress. I think you may change a little each day...till the healing is done. You are doing fine. Glad you have something fun to do ...if it's going to rain. anyways. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteFor four weeks out you look amazing! Most people (well, women, anyway) would not post a picture of themselves with no makeup, whoever makes snarky comments should be ashamed, bless his heart. I don't give any credence to anonymous comments anyway. Enjoy your day, my dear Bee!
