The small recliner I ordered came yesterday. It was a bugger to put together for one person so I got one of my swim mates to help me (well, to do it while I read the directions but still I helped). Now when the duck takes that brown chair behind this one to his place it'll move over there and I'll use it.
So last night I won $17 at poker. I started out losing but made a comeback nicely. That's good, huh?
I am busy for the rest of the week between games, the pool and the dentist. I seriously do not know how I ever had time for a job. And there is a cruise coming up shortly too.
Hope your Wednesday is lovely. Mine will be for sure.
I used to have a sewing box just like the one in your picture. I got it at a Flea Market many, many years ago. I don't remember what happened to it. :(

So... is the chair comfy? And I see you have a double pink edged rug! I'm surprised the chair isn't pink! So I'm thinking it wasn't an avaialable option. ;)
ReplyDeleteI don't know how anybody has time to work. I work from home or I could never have time to cook, do laundry, scoop poop, put down floors, paint, clean out garages and attics, scoop poop...
Have a lovely day. big hugs xoxo
I had my grandmother's sewing box just like yours, but like Anonymous, I can't remember what the heck became of it! There was a point in time that I tole painted every wooden I could get my hands on. Maybe that's how it met its fate!
ReplyDeleteI almost bought a chair like yours, but didn't have space for it, since I sleep in my recliner!
Happy late birthday to Paul! Glad to hear you're feeling better...
I will try out that new chair in January. Packing today!!!
ReplyDeleteBig hugs, honey...
I love your new chair. It looks comfy. It seems that you are a very busy person. Keep it going my wonderful and lovely Bee. Ah yes, you do have a cruise coming up. I was checking cruises last night and I've already chosen a cruise in 2015 on the Carnival Sunshine. I must be crazy but happy.
ReplyDeleteBy the way your friend coasterwiggs, congratulations for your success in losing 94 lbs. That's quite a feat. way to go.
See you later Bee.
Paul
Thanks Paul. I am so thankful that Bee encouraged me with her success.
DeleteLoving the new chair Bee! Well done on the poker win. We often say to each other 'how did we find time to work?' Retirement is great isn't it? **big smiles**
ReplyDeleteEveryone is going somewhere. We are packing too for our bay cruise coming up next week. I'm ready. So is Zane.
ReplyDeleteI love your new chair. It will be more you than the manly one the Duck is taking. Way to go.
Woo hoo on the poker win. Awesome.
Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs. ☺
Bee, I understand exactly what you mean about having had time for a job. I think we were young and could condence our time better. Well that's my reason.LOL. Glad you won a bit. Your new chair is really nice. Enjoy all your fun plans for the rest of this week. xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteI like the new streamlined chair, as I dislike big, bulky recliners. Envious of your upcoming cruise, but if you find someone interesting to stalk, I mean write about, I will be content.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a comfy chair.
ReplyDeleteAs for your being so busy now you wonder how you ever found time for a job... does that mean if I do eventually get some business, I won't have time to service my new (and so far hypothetical) clients?
Ciao!!!
ReplyDeleteI.m so glad Paul is reading and writing...I hope he received my mail!
The chair is comfy and you can relaxing your legs!
We had a sunny Wednesday...oh, the lady who help me at home came back from her september cruise...Venice and Greece and the former Yugoslavie coast...I've no cruise in my past!!! And perhaps no cruise in my future!!!
Big hugs!
That recliner looks really comfy. Yay for coming back!
ReplyDeleteIt really looks cozy. Isn't it funny how we can wonder how we ever did all the other things we did? Good job on the come back.
