Today is my canasta game and lunch with the gals.  I had such a good day Tuesday I'm okay if I don't win today.  I mean I hope I do but I feel a bit guilty for winning so much the other day.  At poker one guy actually asked me if my foot was sore from kicking his butt.

I am not losing weight again.  It gets so frustrating.  I think I might just relax the diet on the cruise and then come back and really knuckle down then and see if the two different eating patterns kick up the loss a bit.  I mean eating more for a week and then really eating less after.  Sort of mixing up my metabolism.  Other than that I don't really know what to do.  I am eating healthy, low calorie, and exercising.  I am so much more active than I used to be and I am losing less than one pound a month now.  With seventeen pounds left to go it had better start going faster than that.

Guess my fish oil isn't kicking in today, I seem to be stupid.  And to make this point I forgot to schedule this post and it posted early.  Really stupid today!

Hope everyone has a great Thursday.  I plan on it myself...

  1. Dear Bee,
It seems (if my memory is correct) that you were losing 1.5 pounds a week when you were able to do your aqua jogging every single day.
Are your daily carb grams under 85? Is your lean protein intake over 50 grams each day? Those two things might help, just a shift in what you are eating, staying consistent with your 1200 calories a day.

  2. You'll lose it pretty soon. It just gets harder the longer you are dieting or whatever you are calling what you are doing. Diet is a bad word. I don't like that word either.

I'm glad you've had a fabulous day, and so what if you posted this early. I can be one of the first to comment instead of way down the line.

Have a fabulous nights sleep. Big hugs honey. ☺

  3. I think what @Mary Rafferty said might be true.
The fact you look and feel so much better sometimes is more important than a number. My friend in the UK was on her Slimmers (?) group diet much like WW and it took her two years to get to her goal weight.
I think you look fabulous !

    cheers, parsnip

  4. Hugs, what counts are the healthy choices you are making! I gained at this weigh-in.

  5. Hang in there! Healthy and feeling good is the greatest thing.

  6. seventeen schmeventeen! Your goal was to to get fit and healthier and to feel better, yes? And you're off all of those meds! Great blood pressure, cholesterol, etc... SUCCESS! WINNING! INSPIRING! Not only did you help yourself, but look at me! My lazy butt is hauling itself to the GYM every day! I have a gym membership and a personal trainor? ME? I can not tell you how surprised I am with myself! And I owe it all to YOU!

    NSV in spades, dearest!

Have another YAYful day! big hugs xoxo

  7. You have already done fabulously well with your weight Bee. I have been on a plateau for 12 months, it's really hard. Maybe a changed of diet and then back to the strict one may help. x

  8. I think you are doing great BEE!

  9. You're my hero. In many ways, not just weight loss. I think of you often.

  10. Bee, You will start lossing again, I am sure. Those plateaus are rough. Think about how much healthier you have become. That makes you a winner. Enjoy your day. xoxo,Susie

  11. Don't beat yourself up because you are doing great and feeling great. That is what matters. Srsly.

    Have fun. Big hugs, honey...

  12. I'm with you Bee. I wish I could continue losing like I was ago but I'll keep on going one day at a time frustration or not. You and the Duck are my heroes and I just keep on going. Have a great time on your cruise. Think of me while you're on the ship. You better not my lovely friend. It might bore you. Just have fun.
