I was talking to the duck tonight and I told him I have so many activities that life is just grand. It’s like a cruise without the ocean.  For example today I had Comcast at 8:00, aqua aerobics at 9:30, meeting with housekeeping to set that up (included) at 2:00, happy hour at 4:30, dinner at 6:00, bridge at 7:30. It’s f’n fabulous!

I’m sorry no photos yet but it’s going great. I’m 95% unpacked and know where 50% of stuff is located. D#1 is home, the duck is back to work, no cable until Friday and my apartment is small but adorable. I’m cooking and exercising and busy every day. I’m exhausted but so happy. This was right for me. I’m going to aqua aerobics in the morning and bingo tomorrow night. Stay tuned, if I have time I’ll be back!  Lol

It’s 3:30. The movers came a bit after 9:00. They are still packing/loading the truck. I am at the new place waiting as there was no longer anywhere to sit down so I’m sitting g in my car. They should be here soon. The apartment looks adorable. I’ll take photos when I’m unpacked. It’s less than 1,000 sq. Ft. But big enough. The bedroom will be challenging with my big bed so I may decide to get a smaller one in a little while. It would make it much nicer. I’m a happy gal!

Well I seem to have gotten my brains back and was able to get into my computer (with the help of a cute grandson and about 40 tries).  Roche' said he was proud of me anyway and we'll just go on from here pretending I'm smart.

Now this is an old photo because I still haven't remembered how to get the photos from my phone to the computer but I know I'll figure that out too once I'm not so tired from this signing in and all so stay tuned for that.  I want to take photos of the new place and show you.  It's smaller but I'm going to make it cute.  The half bath is really tiny so I have to figure out how to make that cute but I am determined.

But for now I hear that bed calling my name...

Thanks for all the support. I really do appreciate it so much. I’m feeling much better now. Nine days. Everyone has been so welcoming whenever I go to a function there. I have five lady friends already. I wish I could post photos from this phone. I’m locked out of my computer because I forgot my password. So dumb. I’ll figure it out. I’m going to get my ducks in a row. Soon. But not today. Today my ducks are waddling all over the place.

Well it looks like it’s happening. I have movers coming on June 8th and closing on the condo on the 11th. I’m overwhelmed right now. D#1 is going to come help me a week before the move. I’m trying not to freak out from fear. I’ve never done anything like this by myself. I always had Sarge to make these decisions. I was at the new place today for a luncheon with some of my new lady friends. I’m really happy but scared. And I hate that I’m scared. I want to be strong and assertive. Deep breath...

Well it looks like I sold my condo. It’s supposed to close in four weeks. I have lots to do. Talk soon...

There is a lot of interest on the condo.  It’s been shown several times. I hope it sells quickly. I’ve thought it though and I’m convinced I’ve made the right decision for me. I know it’s not for everyone but I like the activities and the comfort of not worrying about things breaking or worrying about the future.  I have an Aunt that lives in a similar place and she is very happy there.

So I listed my condo for sale. If you want to see the listing you can go to realtor.com and search Lincoln Tower West Palm  Beach. It’s apt. 1903. I think she did a nice job publishing it.  Let me know what you think.

Thanks for your opinions and please know they mean a lot to me. I went there today and had lunch with six of the ladies. They were so nice. I really liked all !  There is a step up to assisted living and more including memory care should you need any of those things. There is also rehab like if I get my other hip done. It’s really beautiful. SO many activities and such friendly people. It feels like home. D#1 and the duck are both encouraging me to do it but it is ultimately my decision.  Again thanks for your opinions. I value them all.
