Party day is upon me. I'm ready. Kyle has been a great help and is coming after work to move the tables and help me be all ready.  I should have around 35 people. I could handle 50 but didn't get that many. 

The menu is lasagna, salad, wraps, potato salad, slaw, breads, cheese ball, various snacks, cupcakes, cookies, pies , drinks and coffee. I have lots of hats, horns, beads, tiaras, etc. they are really getting a lot for their $25 fee!  I am not furnishing alcohol, just the mixes and ice. They can bring whatever alcohol they want. I do have a bartender.

Well I am now sleeping with all four kids, Roche' of course, Rochelle my new friend, Bojo my pink monkey and Saul Cedric, Roches' boyfriend. It's quite the little zoo I have going on in my bed. No wonder there is no room for a man! Lol

Wednesday is my hair day and last minute party shopping. I'm not playing Mahjong so I can get all I need to do done. I'm still nervous about the party. Bringing together so many very different people with one thing in common- neighbors.

Well Andre' whipped my butt but I kept up with it. The new gym is becoming very popular and that makes me so happy. I knew it would be a great addition to the building. 

I took my tree down last night. I'm like Sarge, once it's over it's just over. Move on. 

TCD gave me a new orchid so I put that where the tree was. 

So that's the news from my world. What about yours?

Is that moon beautiful or what?  Breathtaking. Sunday means the duck. I have shopping to do for the party. The Fern House is catering it and the duck is making the sauce for the lasagna. It's coming together very nicely. I hope everyone had a good time. I think they will but I am a bit nervous as I have never done anything like this before.

Meet Rochelle. She's a new friend of Roche's. She's not finished yet, she needs more sparkles but notice the pink eye shadow. Yep, she's a beauty. 

I had a lovely Christmas. I hope y'all did too. Now I have to gear up for the big New Years party. Stay tuned!

Whew. Hope it's good. It almost caused me a nervous breakdown! Lol

I mean I could almost bake a pie in my sleep I have made so many. But when it matters---?

                  Merry Christmas! 

So far it's been a bit of a disaster but I'm sure it will get better. I am to make TCD's mother a rhubarb pie and have it ready for their Christmas dinner as my gift. Yesterday I made the crusts and put them in the refrigerator and had the filling ready to go so I get up, preheat the oven and make the pie. I go to put it in the oven and the door won't open. I pushed clean instead of bake.  The door is locked!

Now I put the pie in the refrigerator and I'm waiting for the unlock to kick in. I hope I don't have to wait long!  Dumb me.

I saw this photo somewhere, not sure where but thought it was so cute. Of course if I did it I can't imagine it would look anything like this good but still I love it. 

So it's Christmas Eve. It's 82 degrees. It's sunny. My world is perfect. I'll be at the pool. Have a great day y'all!

Today I baked and froze the cupcakes for New Years Eve. I went to the pool but didn't swim. It was warm but windy and, well, I didn't and that's my only reason. Unless you count a lazy day?

I talked to Kyle today. He got up and had a shower so that's a big improvement.  Poor sick baby. 

D#1 sent my gift here and the duck's too. I have a feeling from the shape of the box that we both got him the same thing but maybe not. We shall find out in a few days.
