So as I write this I am on the train home surrounded, once again, by the dregs humanity and we are currently running an hour and a half late. First I was seated next to a guy that had a wooden back scratcher and continually either stuffed it down the back of his shirt, then down the front of his shirt, then up each sleeve and finally down his pants scratching at each stop.

I posted photos of the cake from the lido to remind me that life is not this awful everywhere.

Currently there is a small child kicking the back of my seat and screaming while his mama plays rap music on her phone and occasionally stops her own singing long enough to yell at him.

Next to me is a young(ish) guy with an iPhone paying video games loudly. Happy happy joy joy.

Hope your day is better than mine right now.

The end.

Final sea day, it went by so fast... it was lovely though, every minute of it!

Friday was a fabulous day for sure. I got my hour in the pool without anyone other than TC and Cat in there then we had lunch on the lido and a great nap before heading out for the evening.

The comedy club was really good (that's a non-alcoholic pina colada) and then of course I spent the rest of the night in the piano bar singing and having lots of laughs.

Today is the last day and it's a sea day. I doubt I'll be in the pool because it will probably be jammed with people. There are actually three pools and I will try all of them but if they are crowded I won't go, I'll walk instead.

I have eaten my way through four ports and three sea days so I am not at all anxious to step on that metal monster called the scale when I get home but remember I'll be trying the nutrisystem.

I'll try to post one more time before I shut down the internet. It's been a wonderful cruise and I have met so many wonderful people, some staff and some Facebook friends and all have been great. The only bad thing at all has been missing the duck this time.

TC has renamed me. He calls me Miss. Bee Havin'. I'm thinking on that a spell. Hope your day is grand my friends! Mine sure is...

And a good time was had by all. For sure.

Roche' has a new favorite towel animal. He falls in love daily now.

This is Patrick who was filling in for TC for a few songs. I might have bought his shirt. For thirty minutes. Possibly. But in fairness to me TC made me do it.

I am truly having an amazing cruise. I have not been off the ship yet. Grand Cayman is in the morning and our last port. I have no plans to leave the ship but I have an open mind so we'll see.

Gosh I could live on a cruise ship and never have my feet touch land again and be quite happy.

Hope your day is lovely. Mine will be for sure.

Guess what day it is?

Oh yeah, red velvet cupcake day on the lido!

But first I did my hour in the pool so I could indulge. Since today is Belize I am, once again, staying on the ship. They are the best days when the others are gone for a few hours.

It's fabulous in my world. I sure hope yours is the same.

Me and TC on the lido at lunchtime in Cozumel. He went ashore and I didn't. I swam in the pool.

First formal night (Monday) before dinner.

Captain Carlo Aquilone was the most friendly of all the Captains I have met. He was warm and funny and seemed to be enjoying himself.

Wednesday: Belize from 9:00-4:00, I plan on staying on the ship again. Cat says she wants to go ashore so she can do her own thing and I'll do mine.

We are going to the steakhouse tonight too with a group from the Piano Barbarians on Facebook. I like them very much, two couples.

It's a great cruise so far except for missing Chuck. Hope all is well in your world. Mine is totally tits!

Roche' in his tuxedo, he was quite the gentleman for sure.

You asked for piano bar photos so here you go.

Next up, Cozumel. I was planning to get off the ship here but don't know now, I sort of want to get in the pool instead.

Last night I went to the comedy club and then the piano bar and had a really good time both places. This is a great ship, much smaller than I have been on recently but quite nice. Sarge and I were on it in 2006.

Stay tuned for the diamond party Tuesday night. And have some fun yourselves. I sure am!

Is she having fun yet? Oh baby, she is! So last night I was one of the last people up and around, I stayed in the piano bar until the end about 1:00ish and then I went with some people I met there for a slice of pizza. It was really good too, really thin crust and soft like in Rome. Nice.

Today is a sea day and there are Mexican things all around for Cinco de Mayo and tonight is formal night #1. I met several people I know from a facebook group too. It's such a small world.

Cat is on the balcony sunning and reading and I am about to head out to hunt down something fun. Please know I'll find it too! I always do.

Keep busy while I'm gone and try to have as much fun as me. You will too, just try!

hotel time...

well it's the middle of the night and i woke up ready to go. i don't want to wake cat so i am quietly sitting here typing.

so the train ride to tampa... lots of questionable characters, some even a bit scary. i got moved once because i was seated with a teenaged girl with the mouth of a garbage can and an entitlement attitude. they threatened to stop the train and put her off! i didn't leave my seat the rest of the trip, i put my head in a magazine and hoped for the best. hopefully the ride back to west palm will be better. the staff, however, were great and the train was clean. of course i sanitized my area anyway but i do that everywhere.

the hotel is very nice but quite expensive. as in yikes, coffee and a roll sixteen bucks plus tip. no free wifi, small bottle of water four bucks. can't wait to get on the ship and be spoiled by carnival. seriously.

roche' is sleeping like a baby. he loves to travel.

keep on keepin' on y'all... i will too!

Tomorrow!  I shall be right there with TC singing and lots of people having fun and drinking my bee-tinis!  And there will be photos!

But today, in honor of Barb, the word of the day is "serendipity" 1) an aptitude for making desirable discoveries by accident and 2) good fortune; luck.  Here is my sentence... It was serendipity that I was able to get a table at the bistro so that I could order my plain yellow cake without frosting and the spumescent cappuccino from the axiomatic waiter in the cute hoochie pants and the shirt with the grimalkin cat on the back while I waited for the obliquity to leave my thoughts and it was sheer serendipity that I remembered to pee before I went.  Boy I'm getting good at this.

So today I get picked up by the duck and taken to brunch and then he takes me to the Amtrak station in West Palm Beach where I'll board the Silver Star for the 3 1/2 hour trip to Tampa and then I'll stay in a hotel with D#1 and get up Sunday morning and go to the port and board the Carnival Legend.  Roche' is all packed, he took all his clothes and all his toys as usual.  He is hoping for a cute cabin steward and he is very excited.  He wants to go to the piano bar too.  He has a tuxedo for the formal night.

Come along, I know you will.  I will try to post daily but the times may be spotty, just check back and please let me hear from you.  Please?

Hope you have a great week y'all.  You sure know I will!
