So what’s going on... it’s been warmer so the pool has been back in my life, much to my delight.  Valentines Day is a bummer when you do t have a significant other but I’ll get through it. There is no Mahjong this week so I’ll swim instead. The radio show is going ok. I enjoy it.

But I’m not...

The radio show went ok Saturday. A few technical errors. For one I couldn’t play any music because my new iPhone 8 didn’t have a place to plug the phone into the studio board. It seems you need an adapter. After the show I went to Bestbuy to get one. They asked me if I lost mine. I told them I never had one. They told me it is in the box the phone came in. I went home and looked, yep. There it was. I never noticed it. So next Saturday we have music. I had fun with the banter back and forth with Steve. He plays the dumb guy. It’s not really much of a stretch. Lol

It’s not quite warm enough for the pool and I really miss it.

What’s new?  A couple of things. Bad or good first?  Ok bad first, get it out of the way. I was playing maj yesterday and I fell. On my bad hip. Nothing is broken and no cuts but I’m sore as heck.  Now the good news - Saturday starts a new radio show!  Just one hour a week. Just Steve and me. 60’s and 70’s music, news, weather, chatting, comedy. Sounds like fun to me. When I find out how you can listen online I’ll let you know but if you are local it’s 101.1 FM 10-11:00 Saturday.

Charlie has been gone six years. Time goes by so fast.

So ok here’s the deal. As you know I had lung cancer 12 or so years ago and had a lung removed. Well this scare was my right lung but the scan was good!  Woo boo!

Now I can be

So I had my scan and then a nice dinner with TCD. Friday I have an appointment with Dr. Wacks and hopefully the results will be back by then. I’ll let you know. 

Ok so I’m here two days in a row. I had a good day at Mahjong today but my nerves were bad. I don’t know how I won but I did. 

Tomorrow I have to have a PET scan so that means no carbs for me. Boiled eggs, baked chicken, cheese, nuts.  Stuff like that. I don’t mind. I went to Publix and I have good stuff I can have. I doubt I’ll get the results the same day though because my time is 2:30 and it takes several hours.

Oh am I a lousy blogger. I used to post every single day. Okay here’s what’s going on in my world. Chuck is back to work healing nicely. I am still on a low dose of prednisone and hope to be off it completely in another six weeks or so. I still am having trouble walking any distance but trying daily to improve.  Going to see TCD tonight. Yay!  Slipped that one in on ya’ huh?  And that, my darlings, is it in my world.

Chuck had his hip surgery today. It was scheduled for 2:30 but they didn’t take him until 5:15. It’s 8:00 PM. Ow and he’s still in recovery. All went well. Thanks for your messages and calls.
