Comcast/Xfinity makes my blood pressure rise!

Comcast. Xfinity.  Whatever they are calling themselves today have me so frustrated, once again.  That whole *other charges and credits* thingy?  That is because their service was not working and they HAD to send a technician to fix it.  When I called to ask that this charge be removed they were so sweet and said there was nothing they could do for me.  I asked to be transferred to a supervisor and I was transferred to - are you ready for it? - a dial tone.  I called back and it happened a second time.  To say I am beyond frustrated with them again is putting it mildly.  Get your act together please people of Comcast/Xfinity!!


  1. They charge for a technician? It's their equipment and lines. We dumped these people long ago. The bill kept going up and the service was lousy. I can feel your frustration here.

  2. It's infuriating - and it's wrong of them.
    I'm assuming you asked to speak with a supervisor after the first bureaucrat told you there was nothing they could do.
    if there is a local office where you can go in in person to complain, i would do that. Try to find the boss.
    I truly believe they have the telephone to avoid people.

  6. Bee, Calling for service in this day and age is insanity. it's a good thing we cant reach thru phones. LOL. You can not get good service, no matter what you pay people...I just saying in general. It's pass the buck, more times than not. It was better in the old days before they let all the real people go. I only want a bill that is this amount...not ten different versions or categories and a tax here and there. I call it flim-flammming. Good luck. xoxo,Susie

    I HATE comcast. Were I live I can only have comcast or Dish. This company is rotten to the core. All that extra money goes to the big new offices in Nashville and their DUMB commercials that run all the time.
    A piece of their equipment broke and I had to drive down to the office wait in line turn in the broken one get a new one and install it myself.
    Oh please ! also one week the cable was always going out scrambled and horrible because they were fixing it, I said I should get a credit as it was their fault.. They flatly refused.
    One day I waited all day for the repair man he never came, I called they said well sometimes they don't get to all the calls. I asked why didn't I get a call to tell me they couldn't make it.
    they said well if he wasn't there by the time I should know they were not coming. ? ? ?
    Horrible company.

  8. I dumped Comcast years ago and have never looked back. They had zero customer service. Have to share my big news: today I received notification that I have earned my MBA, Management & Strategy after 23 months of study. Beyond thrilled.

  9. Comcast does not charge us if they are the ones that have the problem--or if they have to change cables, modems, etc. I pay 40.00 for my cable, 33.00 for my Internet and 28.00 for my phone. Comcast is the only choice around here for cable, so they have us by the short hairs, so to speak.
