I took this yesterday, it was beautiful at the pool and I got my hour done.  I am way up at the top right, third from the top.  

To update you on my Comcast/Xfinity problem of yesterday I did finally have a credit issued to my account for the service call.  We are currently about to sign a contract for another five years in the condo association so I played my trump card.  I didn't want to have to do that but I finally did after I got myself all upset.  

It's certainly not the forty bucks, I'd toss that much in the trash rather than get this upset but it was the idea that they lied to me and I just wouldn't let it go.  Anyway, it's done now.  

And at the end I got a call from their customer care with a very condescending woman telling me she would issue the credit but they were doing what they were supposed to do.  I told her that the service to their customers was poor and that was the issue.  She really didn't get it so finally I just told her thank you and ended the call. 

Onward and upward to all of us now.  Today I shall be in the card room hopefully winning two bucks for five hours work.  Ha ha.

  1. Grrr. That stuff gets my panties in a wad. I hate condescension aimed at me. But at least you got your money back - that's the best part!

    Go and earn your two bucks. Or give them forty. And have your warm and sunny. Me? I've had to use an extra fuzzy blanket on my bed the past two nights and wear socks and sweatshirts and stuff. bugger.

  4. Sorry you had to deal with comcast. The community I live in switched from comcast to hotwire. They are no better. They pitched a great deal to get the bid and the tv reception is awful .lots of pixilation. Very frustrating

  5. I am glad you stood your ground and got the erroneous charge refunded! (although I would want to see it in print before I truly believe it!). And having a "customer care" person who is that condescending is just as wrong as the rest of the situation. Oh, well, put it behind you and enjoy your day.

    Wow, are you high off the ground. I guess you like heights? MaryLou & I had a very good afternoon yesterday with our financial advisor. She said that I can even go on two cruises if I want. MaryLou looked at me and laughed. You know what that means. Ha,ha,ha.
    It's bright and sunny this morning but don't be deceived with the sun. It's still very cold outside. Well that's it for now my beautiful friend. See ya.


  7. the mom says that when comcast comes here to take over time warner that efurryone will be furry unhappy. they do have very very poor customer service.

    the mom would be scairt to be near the windows in your place- it's too high for her.

  9. I told Zane ab out that 40 buck charge and he looked at me in disbelief. I told him I wasn't kidding. I'm glad you got the money back, but that broad from customer care doesn't belong in that position. Another thing though...they probably get a ton of complaints and that puts people on the defensive.
