I had the best time last night.  The dinner was delicious (and low-ish calorie) and the play was a hoot.  "My life on a diet" with Renee' Taylor.  She is the woman that played Fran Dresher's mother on the Nannie.  That woman is so funny.

Today is Sunday so I shall have lunch with the duck and do some grocery shopping.  I have a small list this week.

I don't know if I told you or not, I don't think I did, but I bought a Bose TV sound thingy.  Well it came and it was supposed to be so easy to install that a grandmother could do it.  This one couldn't.  I got the building's maintenance man and he came up (for a fee of course) to help me, we ended up calling Bose and they walked him through it and it is now working fine.

I love it, the sound is wonderful but easy to install?  I guess that's a matter of opinion.  There are only three wires that plug into different holes but which one where, have you LOOKED at the back of these new tvs?  There are a hundred holes to put stuff into.

Would I recommend it?  Yes.

It's much warmer today but still not nearly warm enough for the pool.  The water will need several days of heat to recoup from all the cold days so I'll just have to keep walking and going to the gym for a bit longer.

Oh, and yesterday morning I weighed less that my pre cruise weight so that's gone.  Whew.  Hopefully I'll keep going down now.  I keep saying that but I don't.  This time WILL be different.  I declare it so.

Have a wonderful Sunday.  I plan on it too!

  1. Happy Sunday to you too, dear Bee, and glad you had fun last night!

Glad that you were able to get the Bose thingy working, with the maintenance man's help - they are so confusing, i agree.

  5. Still snowing and cold. Five days to go Bee and I'll be on the Breeze. Boy do I need a break of all of this cold & snow. Explain to me, what is this Bose TV sound thingy? I've never heard about it before. Well my lovely & thoughtful friend, it's time to go out and shovel more snow. Yuk.

  6. I'm so happy you had a fabulous Saturday night out. That's what I'm talking about.

Things are very difficult to put together. Hubby does the putting together thing around here. Thank goodness too or I'd be calling someone to help me too.

Have a fabulous day with the Duck honey. Big hugs to you and my very best to Roche. ♥♥♥

  7. Bee, My gosh it seems forever since I have been able to visit. I sure have missed you. I always thought I was very smart...but feel like a total dummy with new technology. I need the dumbest dummy books. Have fun today and stay warm...I've seem the cold has been going south too. Next two days we are in for the worse temperatures. Be safe.... xoxo,Susie

  8. How did I miss your post yesterday? It wasn;t in my feeder. bugger.

My sister Lynda and Rick have had Bose surround sound for many years. Sometimes I like it and sometimes I really don't. Mike and Peggy got it with their new hige TV this Christmas. Sometimes it feels like the sound assaults my ears. Now I do have 2 Bose stereos and I do love them... SO much. So for me I guess I think Bose is awesome for music but I can do without it for TV.

Hope your temperatures warm up for you soon! big hugs xoxo

  9. Bose is so expensive, but they really do have a great sound so it's worth it.
