And I'll be in the card room subbing for a gal instead of at my pool having fun with my friends. Buggers. But I couldn't say no.
I did go to the pool yesterday after I got home from shopping with the duck, that's when I took this photo. Today is supposed to be in the 80's. Finally. But the water temperature is down to 69°which is way colder than anything I'd get into nor would anyone in their right mind but the (self appointed) mayor (of the pool) was in there swimming around in a circle. He knows he's not in his right mind though.
So I have a friend who is a member of SAG (Screen Actor's Guild) and he was sent the movies they are voting on and I got to watch some, American Hustle and The Butler last night. Didn't care for the first one, liked the second one "okay". But I liked that I got to see them. The rest he had didn't interest me.
So have yourself a perfectly lovely day today and try to do something nice for someone else, ok? I will too.
My cousin works in the LA/celebrity industry as a journalist. She attends all of those celebrity thingys and gets all the TV shpows and movies to watch and is always posting pictures of herself with actors. Her next door neighbor is Tito Jackson, I don't get the whole celebrity thing.She sent me a box of DVDs... all crap. I felt a little bit bad when I tossed it all out.

You know Bee, I'd like to have you here helping me shoveling snow. It's a great exercise. I shoveled three times yesterday but today my muscles are sore. Guess what? I have to go out again because it snowed last night and outside I'll be soon. At least the sun is out nice and bright. See you my brilliant lovely friend.

I'm not impressed with Hollyweird one bit. I do watch some shows, but on Netflix. Movies? Haven't been to one in years and years. Most of these idiot's I wouldn't give a dime to. Okay, off my soapbox.

The price was definitely right for the movies. We see maybe one movie a year, basically boycotting Hollyweird. Period.

I haven't been to the movies in ages, though I like to watch them on DVD or Netflix. Last movie I watched and liked was the remake of The Great Gatsby. I love Leo DiCaprio.
