Friday and I'm off!

First thanks for all the lovely comments yesterday on my Sarge memories.  And next I told you I'd show you some of the art in the apartment now.  

These are the frames that had the oriental prints in them that I didn't like so they changed them to these florals which I love.  They are prints.

I found this years ago in the Goodwill store.  It's not a good quality but I still love it.

This is another Goodwill find some years back, it IS an original oil painting.  I think I may have paid three dollars for it.  Already framed.

And this is another one I had, a print but I love it too.  The apartment is nearly done now, just a few more fabric things I ordered and will take about two weeks.  I'll show you when they come.

Last night I helped Carole with another jewelry show.  I had a really good time and it was in a beautiful penthouse apartment is a really nice building with breathtaking views.  The owner is a decorator and an artist and gosh was it beautiful.   Funny thing though,  as the guest came in I knew about half of them already.  It was a great time for me and I think everyone else too.

And then last night we had a huge storm.  Then it passed and we sure did need the rain so it's fine.
