Packing done - check!

Everything is ready to rock and roll in the morning.  People on the ship, including John, are sick.  Great.  I shall do everything in my power to stay well.  I have hand sanitizer and lots of stuff with me but all I can really do is give it my best shot.  Lots of hand washing for sure.

It has turned much cooler today but it isn't supposed to last long.  That means I won't be in the pool today though.

I'm already thinking about red velvet cupcake day on the Lido.  They have them once per cruise but I never know what day will be my lucky one.  It's fun to check though and anticipate.  Gosh I hope I don't gain too much weight but I am going not just try to be a bit careful and keep walking and swimming.  I refuse to diet on a cruise.  And especially since I don't have any more booked now it'll come off when I get home.

I have twenty seven more pounds to go.  It's much slower now of course but that's fine, as long as I keep going in the right direction and I will.  And that's a fact jack!  Are you with me?  Do you realize I am now not carrying around 320 sticks of butter on my butt?  320!!  That truly amazes me, boggles my mind.  Could I even lift 320 sticks of butter?

And that, my friends, is all I know today.  Hope your Friday is totally tits.  Mine will be and you can count on that!

  4. I refused to diet over Christmas, but I did make many sensible choices and managed to have the most wondeerful and delicious time. Unfortunately... I still haven't lost it. But I'm still working on it! I don't regret any of it either!,

Hand washing... And stay away from sneezing and coughing people.

  7. I thought of you last night. Megan asked for cake. She wouldn't stop asking for cake all night. So I caved in and made her a Tastefully Simple Almond Pound cake (It's all I had in the house.) with Chocolate chips.

And thought... Empress Bee would be proud. There is now CAKE in the house.

    Let there be cake!

    :)

I hope you have a lovely cruise, stay well.

  10. Bring some lysol wipes and wipe down your cabin when you get in it. Then forget about it and have fun.The walmart is probably more germy than the ship!

Enjoy Miss Bee and have a cupcake for me.

  11. Bee, I can't begin to say how proud I am of you. You are a strong woman...stronger than you ever realized, I am sure. I have lost another 2 pounds. No sugary snacks. I am trying Bee. I think Japolina has the right idea....wipe things down when you get there. Those little packets for cleaning fingers is good for wiping the edges of your tables too. Wishing you a fun happy time sweet lady. xoxo,Susie

  12. I always wipe down the doorknobs, telephone and tv remote control with Lysol wipes as soon as I get to the cabin. Never been sick on a cruise, so I will continue with what has worked in the past. I have lost 172 sticks of butter off my booty!

  13. Yep, many are sick. It just happens on those big ships. It's a big city and if they are sick where you live they will be sick on that ship, and touching everything. I can't tell you how sick Zane and I were when we came home from Hawaii. Really sick. I hope you can escape getting sick.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs from cold but sunny California. :)

  18. Hi - made a typo.
I agree with the others, a vacation is no time to diet!
