This was the duck on Christmas Eve when we stopped to have cake! He has really been a rock for me and I so appreciate him.
Well yesterday I was so excited to be off and the temperature high enough to swim so I got on my suit and went down to the pool. It was so windy I could barely stand up. The water was blowing out of the pool it was so windy. I sat there and read for about 45 minutes thinking any time it would settle down and I'd get in but no, it only got worse. Then a bug flew in my eye. It was not fun but I fared better than the bug did for sure. Finally I gave up and came upstairs again. I was so disappointed.
Today I have canasta and tonight is poker (which is usually on Tuesday but not this week). And another cold front is on its way. I just have to keep walking because swimming seems to be out of the question right now.
It's only three weeks until we cruise again. This is the bloggers cruise and I am really looking forward to seeing so many of my friends again. The duck is really really ready to go. He has lots of stress where he works and he needs a cruise to lay back and regroup.
And that, my friends, is all I know for today. Hope your Thursday is totally tits. I know mine will be...
Buongiorno!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad that you are thinking of the new cruise, and the Duck sure deserves it so much!!!
Have a great lucky Thursday!!!
Big hugs!!!
I so WIW going to be cruising with you!! srsly. Hope you get to swim today... we're having a nor'easter. =:-0
ReplyDeletebig hugs xoo
Another cruise, WOW lucky you! :)
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to that cruise, too!!! We will have a blast. You'll get more cold weather soon. I'm tired of it, but we are outta here next week!
ReplyDeleteBig hugs, honey...
Wow ... Chuck looks great!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, Bee. I haven't been around lately ... but I shall return!
Will be visiting Muriel in a few weeks. Hope that you will be home at that time.
Miss you.
Love--R
Yeah! Cruise countdown time again.
ReplyDeleteSorry you couldn't swim. I know how you feel, I have been missing walking. But now with the weather so snowy, and having a cold... there's no way I can walk and get any benefit from it. I told Hubby I'd like to take the money we got for Christmas and get an elliptical or treadmill. He said YES! Now I just have to find one. :)
Progress, we can do it!
You are going on another cruise! lucky girl!
ReplyDeleteWindy here, too! Hope you can swim again soon!
ReplyDeleteThat is wonderful that the Duck is so there for you emotionally, Bee. ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteOnly three more weeks until the next cruise? What type of ship this time? Hope it is better than your last experience with the indifferent staff!
Good that even if it is windy, you walk. Daily exercise always feels good.
How is the rest of the apartment redecorate coming along? I really loved the pictures you showed so far!
Bee, I'm so excited for the cruise seeing you and chuck the two people who helped me get started on this losing weight. Everyday I think of you my lovely friend. Remember, Mary Lou and I want to have a real good photo with you and us. See you then.

Bee, You are the empress of the sea..another cruise. This one will be great fun . Knowing you, you'll pick up all kinds of new ideas and tips. Tell Duck please, he is looking so good. Now girlfriend, let me tell you about cold and wind.LOL. We had a blizzard yesterday, but were blessed that it died out 6 hours early and didn't dump as much snow as first predicted. God is good.xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteSorry you couldn't get in the pool. I hope it warms up for you soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm also sorry to say that I won't cruise anymore. That's how bad we were treated on the cruise to Hawaii. We paid top dollar too. Oh well. We'll fly in and hang out on whatever islands we want to explore.
Have a terrific day honey and I hope you win big today. Big hugs. :)
Another cruise? Too fun! I hope the weather cooperates for more pool time for ya. I know you enjoy it so.
ReplyDeleteMore cruising... sounds like way too much fun !
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
AH...to live the life of an empress. cruises upon cruises...now that is what dreams are made of. We just got back from the kids last night. Trying to catch up on everything, and just too dang tired today to care, lol. I wore one of my new skirt and blouses for CHristmas day and everyone told me how nice I looked. Even though it was a tad embarressing to have the attention, Deep down, I loved it. Again thank you!
ReplyDeleteI'm still swimming over on the gulf coast, but it is a little cool.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to BC6 too, seeing you and finally meeting Paul and Mary Lou
