Some Bee Bandwagon stuff... and other stuff!

In case you are not checking the weight loss on my sidebar please note that I just hit 75 pounds yesterday!  Yes, that's right, 75!  Thirteen and a half months, that 5.5 pounds a month or 1.3 pounds a week.  But who's counting?

I know this is not a good photo of me but it's new so there you go.  And yes, I have makeup on my waddle.  Plenty of it actually but still...  It feels pretty awesome.

I looked at the pills I took this morning and the only thing left in there are supplements.  You know, Osteo Bi-flex, calcium, B12, D (well that's in the calcium), fish oil, baby aspirin.  Oh, and one prescription, my Zoloft.  I can come off that any time I want but thought I'd stay on it for the first year after Sarge.

How fabulous is that?  Gone are all the rest!  That's why I have to go back to see Dr. Wacks today, more blood work just to make sure I'm doing as great as I think I am without any meds.

This is the lowest weight I have been in 20 years.  I only wish I had done it sooner.  I know I aged myself carrying that weight around all those years.  But what's done is done and forward I go.  Are you with me?

  1. Oh you look beautiful Bee! You have done fabulously well and are such an inspiration. The added bonus of being able to come off your meds is marvelous. :)

  2. Brava! Brava! Brava!

YAY you! And teal is such a great color for you, btw.

I just did the math and although mine seems to be coming off slower than I'd like I've averaged 5.75#s per month. So YAY!

    And thanks for the inspiration.

    Love, a Bee Bandwagoneer xoxo

  3. You know, it has been a little crazy here ... but I have been thinking of you.
We have been back to whatever is normal for a week, but some lives have been changed forever. I will be catching up on Bee stuff ... But just let me say ... YOU LOOK MAHVELOUS! I am so proud of you. I hit 50 lbs after 12 months and it feels great!
    Love you

  6. You look fantastic! I really need to get on the Bee Bandwagon - I have a bunch to lose before my 50th high school reunion sometime next year (hope it's in the second half of the year!).

  7. Congratulations my beautiful, fabulous, lovely friend Bee. Mary Lou and I looked at the photo That I took when I first met you and Charlie on the Valor and wow, you have looked great on your weight loss. It's you that changed me also. What a woman. 10. You look marvelous!!!!! I am going to start working a little harder now, thanks to you!

  11. I think you look great so there. Seventy five pounds is awesome too. I'm so proud of you. You'll get where you want to go and you'll not have to take medication either. Your exercises help a great deal too. Way to go honey.

It's almost time for your cruise too. I'm going with you, but I always go with you.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs. :)

  15. Ciao cara Bee

What to say? It's marvellous, you could do the diet with a new energy, swimming and more time outdors helped you.
I'm so glad that other friends could follow your example!
    Paul too!!!

    Big hugs...

excuse the deleted comment, I had made so many mistakes!

  16. You are beautiful! So happy for you. 75 pounds is a major thing! When I lose 75, I'll only have 45 to go.

Question- What does fish oil do? Have a great day...~Sandy~

  17. Congratulations. I couldn't lose 75 pounds -- I don't think that would be healthy for me to weigh now what I weighed in my early 20s. But I could do with losing 20, 30, 40... 50?

On the other hand, it's almost the holidays. I'll have to be content with just not gaining 20, 30, 40... 50?

  18. Congratulations on the big accomplishment. Thanks to you I have averaged a loss of 2.2 pounds per week, 8.8 pounds per month!

  19. Bee, You look so good. You should be taking a bow...it was hard work and you did it. You are amazing. Your health is so much better. Enjoy your holiday. xoxo, Susie

  20. when i first started crossfit, they told me that they could calculate my body's biological age. i think they did it based on my weight, BMI, eating and lifestyle habits, my heart rate after exercise, etc. the cool thing about a biological age is that it can go either forward or backward depending on your health and exercise routine... so maybe you pushed that biological age forward for a number of years, but damn if you're not bringing it wayyyy back! :]

you look hott. with two Ts.

  21. You are beautiful. And the best thing is that it's inside and out!

  22. Congrats Bee, you are beautiful no matter what. As for the wings you have acquired, I have them too, but just remember, we don't walk around with our arms out to our sides for everyone to see them.

Big Hugs I am off to do some baking.

  23. Congratulations on your wonderful weight loss. You are truly an inspiration to me.
    Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
