Saturday at my house...

Here you can see the chair I already did and the duck doing the table on the box with the other chair.

And here they are!  Very comfortable and they recline one position further back as well.  The little table between them is nice, I like that it does not have a glass top, my other one does.

I am in the upper condo that is almost cut off in this photo.  I was looking into the sun and didn't get a good shot but it's that high up and a bit windy.  Some days a lot windy.  I don't like those days too much.  Anyway I am very proud of the chairs, they are exactly what I wanted.  I only wish I had found them when Sarge was still here, he would have loved them as well.

Next up I went to the pool for a half hour of exercise in that warm lovely water.  I put on my bathing suit and sunscreen and cover up.  I gathered up my beach towel, my purple noodle, my bifocal sunglasses, my kindle, and my water shoes and off I went.  As I was opening the gate to go into the pool area the weather alarm sounded on the golf course.  One long.  Lightening.  Back up I went.  By the time I got upstairs it was lightening, thunder, and rain.

I waited about two hours for the all clear but no, it didn't happen.  So I got my pajamas on and turned on Pandora for some ABBA.  I started dancing.  All by myself.  Twirling and dancing and having so much fun.  Who knew I could still dance?  I haven't done it in thirty or more years I'm sure.  Sarge wouldn't go near a dance floor.  I had a blast.

And so that was my day in a nutshell.  How was yours?

  3. Wonderful post! I went back and read the posts I missed... I always do that.
I love your view, but I would miss my garden. Or if I had your view maybe I wouldn't need my yard. The chairs look terrific, as do you!
I am the non-dancer in our house, which is a shame because human loves to dance.

  6. I love your chairs and your balcony is HUGE! I would love a balcony, though it would look stupid on my house. ;)

I quite often dance in the kitchen when I'm cooking. MWM doesn't dance much but I love it, which I why I go to Zumba twice a week.

  12. The first thing Mary Lou said to me this morning was that Bee has a beautiful, large balcony with her beautiful new chairs and how wonderful Bee looks. Well I had to wait for breakfast and when immediately to the computer to check on your blog my friend. Mary Lou was totally correct. Wow, what a balcony with a great view and those chairs, they look very relaxing.
It's a shame that you couldn't get to the pool but you dancing, fantastic Bee. Mary Lou hates dancing but I'm even though my leg is not was it was like years ago I'm the dancer extraordinare in my family.
Tomorrow my daughter is having both dads over for a BBQ. She and her husband do this every year. She called my son but he will not be coming over. Oh well.
Have a great day my lovely friend.

  17. So you're a dancing empress rather than a dancing queen? Either way it sounds like you had a nice time and got your blood moving in spite of the nasty weather - good for you!

The new patio furniture looks lovely - and comfortable! I'm sure you'll get lots of lovely use from it.
