I could look at this forever. Just think, this time next week I will be. (Y'all.) So let's see, what's happening in paradise? Yesterday was a lovely day so I was able to do my 35 minutes of water aerobics by myself. Mostly I just walk in the pool but at the end I do some treading water. It was windy and the water really was hard to walk in but I think that made it better actually.
When I got upstairs I was starving. I ate a 200 calorie lunch (the amount of calories I burned in the pool) so my lunch was free. That left me able to have some pasta at dinner! Not a big bowl mind you, but pasta nonetheless. Believe me I don't eat it often. Basically I have my lean protein and steamed veggies most days.
After that I completely enjoyed myself on the terrace in my new chair. I read a while, played on the iPad a while, and watched the clouds go by in the wind and tried to find things in them.
So that was my day in paradise. How was yours?
Sounds like a great day.
ReplyDeleteI have also been enjoying sitting outside and enjoying the day. Since the patio is almost done it is lovely to sit in the shade and look at the grass fountain, mountains and of course The Square Ones.
Yea for the upcoming cruise !
cheers, parsnip
Well, I had to go to the mall. Now my knee is acting up. Bugger.
ReplyDeleteYour day sounded MUCH better!
big hugs xoxo
It's 1:43 am here and 87 degrees. I have a feeling tomorrow may be a record-breaker. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather swim than walk. Swimming laps is such good exercise. Last time I tried I had a tough time just doing one lousy little lap...
Sounds like a perfect day Bee. I get to see my sons, grandchildren, brothers and sometimes nephews and nieces on Saturdays so it's always a great day.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great day, but the view is even better. I wish I had your willpower for exercise. I have lost 30lbs but have got stuck there. We bought a treadmill and I try to do 20 minutes every day, but it is soooo boring. I put a CD on and play it loud and sing along with it. That helps until I get out of breath.
ReplyDeleteGlad you like your new chair!
ReplyDeleteA good way to spend the day, I think!
ReplyDeleteI went for another long walk around the cemetery and then I came home and brought a book outside...not quite as nice as I expected though as our backyard is completely covered in shade.
ReplyDeleteI went to work and put in some overtime hours but I don't suppose that counts as a fun day, does it? Yours sounds like it was much better!
ReplyDeleteLove the new patio set and the awesome view. Saw your review of the chair on Home Depot's website.
ReplyDeleteBee, You are sure being good on your diet...I love how strong you are becoming. Oh my gosh, what beautiful deck chairs and table. Good choice.:):)Enjoy this day, Susie
ReplyDeleteSunday purrs
ReplyDeleteAbby
I had pasta yesterday too. It was really good and I don't have pasta very often either. It sure is a treat when I do. Good for the both of us.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great day yesterday. That's what it's all about.
Have a terrific day. Big hugs from hot California. :)
That sounds like a beautiful restful day!
ReplyDeleteWe ran around, napped, then had date night at Barnes and Noble. the clouds were so beautiful on our way home. They were backlit by the setting sun and had such a wonderful contrast. I could have looked at that for hours!
ReplyDeleteHad birthday cake, kids and grands, so it was a great day!
ReplyDeleteBig hugs, honey...
Mmmm. That actually sounds like the perfect day to me.
ReplyDeleteDo you use an aqua jogger when you walk in the pool without touching the bottom, Bee - or do you actually walk through the water on the bottom without any flotation keeping you balanced?
ReplyDeleteI am curious a sto which is the right way to do it, and it sounds like you know!
(HUGS) and you are still continUing such awesome healthy eating ! Congratulations:)
