I have no idea why I woke up thinking about you two this morning. I knew we were on a cruise to Hawaii, but that was six years ago. You know how much I thought of Sarge Charlie.
The older I get the faster it goes by. I try to remind myself of that whilst going through things that are no fun. But my memory is going faster, too. And not in a good way.
I think of Charlie so often and of course you and your family.

Sometimes it flies by for widows, sometimes time drags. I didn't know Charlie but he lives on in the memories of him that you share.
