I

So while I was dreaming about cruising I got to thinking- you know that Subaru commercial where they donate $250 to charity every time they sell a car?  Well guess who is really paying that $250?  The buyer of course. It's built into the price of the car. Then they get to deduct it on their corporate taxes. Put a little love in your heart. You heartless bastards.

  1. Yup. Someone ALWAYS pays the bill. As a merchant who accepts VISA, MC, Amex and Discover, I pay every one of those rewards they are paying the cardholder.

Of course, I am also the cardholder (personal and business) collecting the rewards. :D

    I ♥♥♥ "Free $$$" :)

I can't gripe too much about it though because it's sure a lot cheaper than paying someone a salary (or fee to a receivables agency) to collect from people who have no intention of ever paying what they owe. I just consider it a prompt pay discount and move on to my next order.

But no more orders this year! I am officially done with orders for 2016 and only have a few more days left before my sister leaves. Have yourself a ginger peachy New Years Eve, Bee! x0♥

  4. Yep, and there are so many people that believe these kinds of things are free. They are not. Nothing is free.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hug to you and my very best to Roche. ♥♥♥

  5. Of course. Having worked in the "car" business, there are a lot of things the salesmen talk about as "free" which really are not. Don't ever buy a Credit Life or a Warranty. Those are really un-needed and are how the dealership makes the most money on their sales. Actually, Subaru is one of the safest cars to drive.

  6. Really disgusting when corporations think they are fooling their customers.

Happy New year's eve, dearest Bee!
