So I told you I'm on this modified ketogenic diet, at least I think I did. The premise is that sugar (carbs) feed cancer so we are trying to starve it. I am limited to 25 or less a day. This baby is 3.5!  Cheesecake with no crust is odd but it was easy to make and I have seven more slices in the freezer for when I want something sweet. It was really pretty good. If you have been eating regular stuff all the time you might not like it but if you have been limiting carbs it's wonderful.

  1. That's a tough diet. But I agree that when you change the way you eat, food like that becomes delicious and you find so many ways to adapt. I also now like crustless quiche!

  4. Sounds like of like the Adkins diet. No carbs or very few. I'm glad you've found a dessert that you like. Good for you.

Have a fabulous day. Big hug to you and my very best to Roche. ♥♥♥

  5. "Keto" in Korean essentially means saying grace (blessing the food/giving thanks). Because I now know about 4 entire Korean words since one of my nephews married a Korean gal.

    And there ya go! bahahaha!!!

    big hugs xoxo

  6. That looks delicious and I'm glad you can have a treat Lang the way. (Cheesecake counts as cake, right?). I would like the recipe, too, if you share it.

  8. Well Bee I'm trying to get back to when you first taught me how to loose. I'm having some trouble but I'm not giving up. I'll be thinking about you every time I want to eat something and I'll say to myself, Bee is working hard to help herself so I will also.
I'll keep thinking about you my friend. See ya.

  9. That looks good to me! You up for going out to eat? We are only here for another week, then off roaming for a whole month! Give me a call.

    Big hugs, honey...

  10. You are a very positive woman. My youngest is a lot like you in that she was determined to become an RN at 45. I tell her she's like a terrier - gets a hold of something and she's not gonna let it go. You've got this!
