Well it's Sunday so that means time with the duck. I love these few hours with him each week. I am so fortunate to have a son and a daughter that are so good to me. That plus it's only a week till cruise time. Now if I could just see my WCK one day soon it would be perfect. Not sure if I will before the cruise or not.
So the duck had in an offer on a townhouse that he liked very much and it was negotiated and accepted pending the inspection. Well the roof was bad and the hot water heater and air conditioner were past their life so he cancelled that contract and he's back to square one. It has sure been a bumpy ride for him but he is continuing to try to find something. I believe when it's right it will happen.
Have a lovely Sunday y'all. I will too for sure. But I am not...
Poor Chuck. House-hunting can be very stressful. The right one will come along, just when it's suppose to.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your lunch together! xoxo
Well, phooey on that townhouse! But thank heavens for a good inspector. I hope the Duck will find the perfect new home soon. Enjoy your time with him today.
ReplyDeleteThank Goodness for inspectors !
ReplyDeleteHave fun today with the Duck.
cheers, parsnip
Sorry for Chuck but thank goodness for the inspector. WCK will come to see you before you go on your cruise. Talk about your cruise, you're back to cruising throughout the year. I still have, well many days to go before I go. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteI lost a half of pound this week and I surprised especially being with the grandchildren and going many different places to eat.
Have a wonderful Sunday with Chuck my gorgeous friend. See ya.
Cruisin Paul
Yikes on all the issues on that townhouse. Good to know before going in. He'll find the right place at some point.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and my very best to Roche. ♥♥♥
Bee, Have fun with Duck...is he going on the cruise too? Wouldn't it be fun if Ryan and his friends could come along.? Blessings for a great Sunday. xoxox, Susie
ReplyDeleteWell, he didn't need to take on those problems, but bugger that he has to start all over. Surely the right one will come along and soon!
ReplyDeleteBig hugs, honey...
My nephew got divorced about a year ago and moved in with his parents while looking for a house. There was nothing in his budget that met his needs for a few months, and then what he thought was the perfect house came up and they accepted his offer! Turned out the owners burned those pretty candles to disguise the odor of the septic backing up. Then he put in offer after full-price offer and kept losing out, until he didn't. The perfect house at the right price with amenable owners came up, and now he's moving in next week. I have no idea why it's a seller's market out there, at least in Michigan, but your son will get the perfect house soon, and he'll know it when he does.
