This shows on the left a photo taken right before the face lift and on the right five months past it.  Remember Dr. Pinsky said it will continue to change for the first year.  Both photos are not retouched in any way.  To me it does not look like it was a lot of work done, just some smoother and the neck is getting better.  Also the jowl is better I think.  Anyway I haven't done this before and I think it's a good indication of the work I had done.

One of Chuck's friends/clients/residents "went out" this week and was dead of an overdose within 24 hours.  The disease of addiction is a killer, never forget that for one moment.  He left behind a small child too, a beautiful daughter.  How must she feel?  The entire family becomes part of the disease.

So Andre' shall be beating me up again today.  And my WCK called and he is coming on Wednesday.  He said he had to see me before I left for a week.  And that's all I know in my world.

Hope your Monday and whole new week is totally tits.  Oh, and today I am not...

  1. I can't tell much of a difference- to me you look great either way! Should be interesting to see the one year side by side. Sorry to hear about Chuck's friend. Prayers for him and the family.

  2. I am with Lauren, I can't see any difference.
But if you see the difference and feel better then it is all good.
I think you look fabulous in both photos !

  4. I do see some smoothing and such. I think you look great in both! And you know I do adore your naturally curly hair!

I read Chuck's facebook post. So very sad. And it happened just the day after my sister Janice's friend called her to tell she'd found her 25 year old son dead on her couch that morning from a heroin overdose. He was just about the same age as my sister's son. As you may recall, my sister fears this very thing may happen to her own son any and every day. He has been in and out of so many rehabs...

Today is Disney Day for me and Al with sister Lynda & Rick! Even though rain is forecast we shall have a delightful Disney kind of day with them. We're just doing one night at the Disney Resort with them and back home tomorrow. They've been planning this trip for so long... I do hope the weather isn't a total washout for them for the next week with one of her son's family. It will be the first time Aria and Ian will see Disney... the first of many, no doubt. :)

Have yourself a marvelous day! xoxo.

  5. As I said before you had the operation, to me, you are beautiful all around before and after. Your smile is beautiful and you are such a such a wonderful person that you are perfect to me.Ahhhhhhh.
Sorry to hear about what happened with Chuck's friend/client/resident. He must have suffered with this addiction and I feel really bad for his daughter. Oh boy, Wednesday's the day when you can, well, do whatever you want. Ha,ha,ha.
Have a suffering Monday with Andre and I bet you'll love it. LOL See ya gorgeous.

  6. You look 10 years younger. Yes you do.

Sorry about the Duck's friend. I've seen this so many times over my working years. I'm happy to say not so much now.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and my very best to Roche. ♥♥♥

  7. I really can't see any difference. At least you don't look all tight and "plastic" and that's a good thing. If I went through that kind of pain, I'd want every mouth crease and wrinkle gone, plus I need a smaller nose, and eyelid lift and plump up my lips. I need a complete body overhaul too! LOL

  8. I do see a difference. The art of this procedure is not extreme drama, but just enough to not look pickled or fake. I think your new hairdo makes a difference as well. And of course, that "certain glow". I saw Chuck's post on FB. Sad. I know how Chuck cares about his clients. Sending him hugs and love...

  9. I see a subtle difference. You look rested in your after picture. Like others have said you don't want to look plastic or fake and I have to say the result is beautiful and well done.

  10. Yes, there is a difference in the two photos...but the same happy heart resides in both photos. So sad that the young man couldn't defeat his addiction. It is hard on the whole family...for sure.

    Big hugs, honey...
