Last night the duck and I went to dinner so we won't be going to lunch today. I'll be going to the pool instead. If it's not raining that is, we have had rain lately, much needed rain I might add.
So the duck has been looking at buying a home and he has appointments today, there is much to learn and he is working hard at it. I told him not to rush, when the right place comes along it will happen.
Tomorrow my WCK is coming to see me. You know he is now working three hours away and driving to see me for a few hours. That says a lot to me that he would do that, face it, six hours on I95 to spend a few hours here is very special. I still don't know where this might lead but I am open to wait and see, nothing ventured nothing gained, right?

ReplyDeleteI worked like crazy yesterday on deep cleaning the Swamp and usually I can finish it one day but not so this year. I think Ima getting old. But you know what? It will keep for another day!
Today is lunch out with friends. It's Peggy's daughter's 21st brthday and my husband's 80th. She chose the steakhouse because she wants to be able to O-fficially order her first alcoholic beverage. And I have "coupins"! Woohoo!
