Good boy/Bad boy???

Yesterday I was thinking about these two guys and how very different they really are, in fact they are polar opposites in every way.

TCD: Extremely polite, impeccable manners, lives in Palm Beach, drives a BMW, owns his office, has a staff to work for him, sweet and kind to everyone, takes me nice places, never touches me other than a hug and a kiss on the cheek, extremely handsome, Syrian but American citizen.

Edward: Rents an apartment, drives one of those square cars, can't take me nice places until January because has cash problems because of the renovations of his rental properties, can make me swoon with a look, a world class kisser, checkered past sort of, would gladly ravish me in a heartbeat, very sexy, Australian but American citizen.

And yet I like them both.  I think what I will do is just keep going as I am until something happens and I either have to make a decision of some kind or one of them moves on.  TCD I think is just a great friend (without benefits!) that I enjoy being with, at least I think so.  Who knows really?  He never says but continues to be sweet, text me, call me, take me out.

I think I wanted to write all this down to get my own head straight.  I am truly having the time of my life right now but I know this can't continue.  Thanks for listening!

  1. Not making a decision between the two IS making a decision, and a good one in my opinion. It doesn't sound like either one is asking for or hinting at you being exclusive so why shouldn't you play the field. You may not be the only woman on their dance cards either. As long as you're honest with the guys and yourself, just enjoy the present and let the future take care of itself.

  2. I agree with what Jean R said, as she said it so well. I do have a question, how is it that someone who has rental properties doesn't own his own place?

  3. Who said you have to pick ?
anonymous... Builders are a different bunch. Plus if your a small company or just one person money is always tight.
He rents because he probably sold everything to buy the property he is working on. I was married to a Arch'/developer/builder and we sold our home when he needed money for his deals.
Plus not everyone needs to own a home.. I have several friends who love renting. Nothing to hold then down, can move when they want plus when stuff goes wrong they call the owner. Plus they didn't lose all that money in the crash or foreclosed .
    Life is strange.

    cheers, parsnip

  4. a sweet Syrian... a seductive Aussie... a BFF to enjoy a swim, a chat and a meal... And there are plenty of other fellas out there that you just haven't met yet. ;) It's like shopping... you don't have to buy the first few you see! When you see THE one, I think you'll know right away that you MUST buy it! In the mean time, I say enjoy the adventure!

It's gonna pour and rain again here for days. Ack. Oh, well! Have a perfectly lovely day. big hugs xoxo

  7. Yep Barb is right there are lots of fish in that ocean! I think you are wish to come to the conclusion you did, you really have no choice you have to make right now, in fact you can continue on in just the way it's going now as long as you'd like. Just always follow your gut instinct, don't push any of your intuition aside. Have fun just like you are Miss Bee. We all know you're a gem!

  9. I have an older friend that has 3 boyfriends. One likes classical music, opera and live theatre. One likes going to baseball games, movies and gardening. One travels and takes her along. None have benefits. All are a bit younger than she is--5-7 years. She has a nice life.
