I took this photo one morning at sunrise in Puerto Rico from my balcony looking out at another Carnival ship.  I thought it was a pretty photo.  There is something about that Carnival "whale tail" that makes my heart flutter every time I see it.  It's iconic and it's the perfect symbol of fun to me.  And soon I will be near one again.  Six days actually but who's counting?

Today I shall be with the duck and we shall have a lovely lunch and go brave Publix for a bit.  I don't need much but it seems whenever I say that I still end up with a cart full so whatever it is it shall be.

Yesterday's card game was really very nice but from where we were playing I could see my friends at the pool and it made me want to be there so much.  I saw the mayor dive into the water (8.7 Walter - yes, I was watching) and then I saw my Canadian friends go in and I was so sad that I was stuck playing cards but I promised and I did it.

So New Year's is upon us this week.  Anyone have any plans?  If you go out stay safe please.  I need all the readers I can get.  (Kidding!)

Have a wonderful Sunday y'all.  I will too.  For sure.

  2. I am still shopping cruises and thinking that sooner or later THE perfect Pack and Go email will arrive at exactly the right moment. AT least I don't have to make the drive to the cruise port alone anymore, so I have that goin' for me! ;)

Have fun with the duck, and no doubt you'll be poolside at some point! big hugs xoxo

  4. Mary Lou & I stay home New Years Eve. We don't drink nor party anymore. Christmas is our big time. New Years day is the time to take down the tree ans all the decorations around the house. After that, we prepare for our cruise which is just 4 weeks away.
Get to the pool miss mermaid. It sounds like you need to get wet. Ha,ha,ha. Have a wonderful day Bee & say hi to the Duck.

  5. Have a wonderful day with the Duck. I know you will and pretty soon you'll be cruising. I know a pedicure is in your future too. That toe inspection is not to be taken lightly.

We are boating to Rio Vista with some buddies and spend New Years eave at a local restaurant. Bunch of us just hanging out and no one is driving. All the boats are within walking distance.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and my very best to Roche. ♥♥♥

  6. Bee, I love to cruise...you would think I would be planning a trip myself. Ted has a fishing trip up with his brothers and kin. He turned down the golfing trip....so maybe he'll have a bit of time for his maid...that would be me. dang. If I lived closer , I would just book whenever you did and come along. LOL. Blessings for a fun day, xoxo,Susie

  7. We pretty much stay home for NYE. Don't like to be out on the road with all the drinkers.

Still beached on the couch, but feel a tiny bit better today. I want to feel normal again! And will. I enjoyed our phone visit, sweet friend.

    Big hugs, honey...
