This is straight out of the camera from last evening.  No alteration at all.  What a beautiful sky.  I sat out on the balcony and watched it for a while just enjoying life.  The humidity was down as was the temperature, well, a bit anyway.  It is looking east as the sun set in the west reflecting on the eastern clouds.

Of course I go to lunch with the duck today and to Publix.  I don't need much but it seems like when I say that I end up with a cart full anyway but oh well.  My pantry is almost as full as my closet.  Both need a good cleaning out.  Another day, not this day.

Have you been eating peaches?  They are fantastic right now.  I ate my last two last night.  Some of the best I have had in years actually.  Big and fat and sweet and juicy.

Yesterday was a very long day for me.  I hung out at the pool for a good while but then when I came up and got my shower I just got my gown on and stayed in and that made for a really long day.  I should have gotten dressed again and gone and done something.  I know, I could have cleaned out the closet or the pantry but no, that's nothing I wanted to do and basically I do what I want as you know.

I wasn't really bored but I was lonely.  I listened to music and did some exercise and made a healthy omelette for dinner and just wanted human contact.  Roche' tried to help but sometimes rocks don't understand.  He just wanted me to dress him up and hot glue rhinestones all over him.  He is a little sweetie though.

Have a great day y'all.  I'll have some company today so it'll be better.

I am sorry you were lonely but just think in two weeks it will be cruise time. So maybe you should clean that pantry out !
My family from Japan will be here in a few days and I am cleaning everything. Nothing like a real reason to get chores done that you don't want to do. hahahahahaha

The Square Dogs send wurfs !
    cheers, parsnip

I'm a recent follower of your blog and I'm curious about who or what 'the duck' is. I've got Roche` figured out but 'the duck' you had lunch with is still a mystery to me.

  4. Hi Ya Babe. Can I say that to you Bee? I just wanted to make you feel a little better just like you make me feel better when I'm dreary.
The Duck, that will interesting explaining that one especially since you have Roche. Now you have the Duck, Roche and the Italian Stallion, me. Ha,ha,ha.
I can't explain how you do it, but after you hung the phone the dreary day suddenly looked great. After our phone call the sun opened up a beautiful day. I guess you are like the sun and I had a wonderful day my gorgeous friend. I wish I could help you also. You should have called me up last night even though I can't give that human contact you needed but my human brain and voice is here. I wish I could of helped you like you help me. Oh well that's life.
Have a wonderful sunny day Bee but always remember that Paul's here whenever you need me. Love you my wonderful friend. See ya.

  6. I'm sorry you were feeling a bit low yesterday. I think we all go through that at some point. Today will be a better day, you'll see.

  7. Bee, I know that feeling of time on your hands...well there's always work to be found...but heck who wants to work all the ding-dang time . I get sick of working. I'd like more time out too. At least you have a day weekly with your son...that has to help. I don't know about you...but if I listen to music sometimes I get the blues.....music takes us back into time. I listened to my Carpenters' CD yesterday, as I wrote letters. Felt a bit sad afterwards. Thinking of you and wishing you well. xoxo,Susie
