The sun was in my eyes when I was trying to take photos at the Fern House yesterday but I did manage to get this one of the new paver with the duck on it.  He's come a long way baby and I know sarge is smiling in heaven and busting his buttons with pride.  I am too in case you can't tell.

So I did very well indeed at both barbecues yesterday but did not get to swim between them as it stormed.  And I did, in fact, only eat one rib and a small amount of sides.  At the club in the evening I ate gazpacho and broiled grouper with lemon and unsweet tea and fruit for dessert.  They had some beautiful pies but I did not even eat one bite.   All together I think I stayed within my daily allowance, probably not enough to lose anything but I don't think I'll gain from it.

Today I shall try to swim by 11:30 so I can be done in time to get ready to go out tonight with my friend.  I can't wait to see Jersey Boys.  I saw some bad reviews but I love the music so much I don't much care about the acting.

Have a lovely Saturday y'all.  I will for sure, you can count on it.

  3. Congratulations Chuck and you Bee. Yes I'm sure Sarge is just beaming of both of you. Have a wonderful evening watching the Jersey Boys and enjoy the evening with your new friend. Don't worry about anything Bee. Let your evening go with anticipation and enjoyment. I'll be with you in spirit my gorgeous friend. I saw the Jersey Boys with Frankie Vallee on TV last night just before the fireworks came on. See ya.

  7. I know Sarge is so proud of Chuck! And rightly so.

Congrats on exercising self-control yesterday! I had baked mahi mahi and bunches of steamed begetables fro dinner. mmmm. I made a big old pot of stew today. It's simmering on the stove. Almost ready for cooling off and getting portioned into my perfect size freezer containers.

Enjoy the movie. I'm waiting for it to come out in streaming video!

    big hugs xoxo
