It's Barb!
Here she is waking Roche' from his nap!

Then we picked up Old Chuckie Duck and went to Nick's for breakfast.

Barb had a healthy omelet.
I might have had two pancakes.
And possibly with syrup.
Maybe.
But only a little bit.

But then I spent an hour and a half in the pool working so I think I'm good to go now.  In my world I am anyway.

Today I shall be at the dermatologist's office getting my skin looked over, under, and at.  Hopefully it's all good but we shall see.  As much as I am in the sun I don't ignore these appointments.

A week from today is my next appointment with Dr. Wacks and I am not hopeful to be at a better weight.  I am really struggling my friends.  Andre' said I should fast for 24 hours with only sips of water and then slowly add back protein and warm water with lemon the next day.  This sounds like no freaking fun at all a good plan but I won't do it without discussing it with the doc.

But the bottom line is I am still strong and healthy and I feel great so I have GOT to stop worrying so much about the number on the scale.  I know this but it's still hard to make my brain accept it.

So it's Monday again huh?  Well make it a lovely week.  I will too.  And do something nice for someone okay?

  1. What a lovely visit! In many ways like the race - wait a really long time for it and *snap* it was over. It was so good seeing you! And so lovely to see Chuck. I hate that I woke Roche' up though. Bless his heart.

    big hugs xoxo

  2. Glad you had a good visit!
When you tell someone you've got a migraine everyone has a solution. Maybe you've tried everything, and it's hard to listen to well-intended people. BUT, have you ever tried whey protein? Smoothe segue, no? The more I think about food the more I eat, so it's easy to make a shake...
    Hane a terrific Monday!!!

  3. How lovely that you had a fantastic visit with your friend and seeing The Duck. Quit worrying about your weight so much. Just keep watching what you eat and like me I try to keep very close to " My Fitness Pal " which you got me into and which I follow each day. Yes, some days I miss but when I weigh on Sunday, if I'm up, the next week I'm very strict on the Pal. That way I'm pretty close to what I want. I think you are worry far to much about the numbers. You look wonderful, beautiful and are always thinking about others. You are my angel Bee and because of you, I can hit that little white ball so much better. ha,ha,ha. Live life to the fullest my gorgeous friend. Have a sunny and warm day. See ya.

  4. I wish I could have been there for Barb's visit too. How fun. Roche does look very groggy doesn't he.

I quit worrying what the scales says long ago. It's how you feel that is most important to me. I go to the doctor in about a week, but he never gets on me about weight. He's says I'm fine.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and my very best to Roche. ♥♥♥

  5. Bee, What a fun breakfast with Barb and Duck. I think sometimes we do worry about the number more than how we actually feel. Wishing you a great week. xoxo,Susie

  9. I would not do the fasting thing without your doctor's ok. I wouldn't think you need anything that drastic. Just be strong and healthy and enjoy your life. Hugs!
