Sunday means you-know-what... lunch with the duck and grocery shopping.  He calls it "our time" and that makes me so happy when he says things like that.  Sarge would be so proud of him.

I won pretty big at canasta yesterday, twelve bucks.  I need to make up my Tuesday night poker fiasco.  It's a start.

I read on Facebook yesterday someone asking if anyone ever talked to their pets and pretended to get an answer.  I talk to Roche' all the time and I get answers.  I don't even have to pretend.  Maybe I took too much fish oil.  Or I have rocks in my head.  Or something.

Shoot I even talk to my car.  Well it's Sarge's car and I guess I'll always think of it as that but still.  And I always talk to other drivers even though they can't hear me.  Usually they can't anyway.  But if they could hear me they'd probably thank me for letting them know when they are being total a$$es and stuff.  I mean they need to know, right?  I am pretty sure they'd thank me too.

Fusha.  Is that a real color?  Or better yet - puce?

I have so many friends on cruises right now.  I sure wish I was.  Six more weeks.  I'd better step up the card games so I can afford to go.  At the rate I'm going with that I'd be cruising the tenth of never, ha!

So have a perfectly lovely Sunday y'all.  I will too, for sure!

  1. I so agree with what your wrote.
I talk to The Square Ones all the time and they answer me, in fact we have long conversations. I always check to see where they are when I leave and tell them I will be back in 5 minutes. They really can't tell time and usually sleep so it is all good.
Plus they have a blog !
I feel sorry for that persons dog (if they have one) if they don't talk to them !
Since Watson is now deaf, I always get really close to his head and talk to him so he can feel the vibration.
I talk to the stupid drivers all the time and may be known to call them various names....

    cheers, parsnip

  3. I always talked to my pets, sometimes I talk to my car, and often to other drivers! Heck, I talk to the coaches when I watch football, my teenaged son (who is 29 now) used to laugh at me and tell me they couldn't hear me. Did'nt stop me though. You enjoy your time with the Duck today. I'll be here, talking to the tv during the Super Bowl. Hugs, have a great day!

  6. Have fun with 'our time'. I like that too.

Yes, I talk to Little Bit all the time and she answers me all the time too. I also know you and Roche have many wonderful conversations. I think it's awesome.

I talk to drivers too and sometimes I call them bad things.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and my best to Roche. ♥♥♥

  7. My mom and my husband talk to themselves all of the time. I talk to my cats but you would not like what I've been saying to them lately (I actually blogged about how annoying they are today)

When the snowbirds are here I certainly talk to them while they are driving. (Also, not fit for publication)
