Can you see the coconuts in the tree?  Yep, it's that time again, the coconut trees are full of them and if you remember some mental giant planted them in the parking lot over cars.  I have a covered spot but my second spot is open and under one.  Since I only have one car I'm fine though.

Yesterday I called an old friend (45 years) to wish them a happy new year.  I found out that she has "memory" problems now and they are going into assisted living when there is an opening in the one they want.  He has been battling cancer since before Sarge got sick.

The reason I am telling you this is because I want you to remember that each day is a gift and to make the most of it.  You don't know what tomorrow might bring but you do know what today is offering you.

Today I have lunch and cards and then to finish up getting the stuff ready to pack.  I'll put it in the suitcase on Friday.

Hope your Thursday is totally tits.  Mine will be.  I plan on winning three bucks!

  1. Good advice. Great, actually. Not one of us knows what's ahead in the next hour, let alone the next week, month year, decade.

Hope that 3 bucks finds its way to you! Woohoo! And maybe I'll hit a game at bwtb. Or not. :)

    big hugs xoxo

  3. You are correct Bee. Since I was told that I was suppose to die some 30 some years ago, I know each day when I get up I thank God to see the light again and when I go to sleep at night I thank Him for having another great day and those that are around me. I think if people would only think about that, life would be much better for us all.
It is still snowing my wonderful friend. It has been snowing for two solid days. I think we've totaled around 7 or 8 inches of the beautiful white ( junk ) purity that is piling up all around us allowing us to pick it up. Isn't it time for you to go to your pool under the bright, hot sunshine? Ha,ha,ha.
Have a great day lovely Bee.

  5. Yes each day is a gift indeed. Live life to its fullest and that's what hubby and I do. Yes we do. We are still on the boat and will return home tomorrow. It weather is cold when the sun goes down, but it's beautiful when the sun is shining. In the mid 60s and that works for us.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs to you and my very best to Roche. :)
