I had a lovely day yesterday.  Well I mostly have lovely days but I think yesterday was especially nice.  I got up late (for me) and went to the pool.  Three friends were there, the (self appointed) president, governor, and mayor (of the pool) and we all swam.  I did more than an hour and worked really hard.

I had a nice lunch and dinner, both at home but really good and because of working so hard I had lots of calories to use.  I didn't use them all but did use some.

Today I'll be back there and then at poker tonight.  Several are out this week so we are only seven plus the dealer.  It won't be as good a game as it is when there is ten but I'll still have fun.  I like all the players and we kid around and laugh.  The two snowbird players will be back soon too.

I also got invited to lunch by my old boss.  His said business is good now.  It stunk for a while, it's a real estate law firm in Palm Beach.  I love that things are good now.  It's a great firm and the people are all very nice.  And no, I am NOT going back to work.  He asks me every time he sees me!  What, ruin my perfect life?  Nope.

Have a fabulous Tuesday y'all.  I will too!

  3. I just read that gov't gobbledygook. If that's not a slap to the face. These bureaucratic clowns make me positively sick. I think of all the young widows and what this does to them. Thank God that dear Sarge had other means of keeping his girl taken care of.
