So I had my first backgammon lesson yesterday.  I am learning very s-l-o-w-l-y.  I understand the premise but the fine points are alluding me.  I'm also not sure I have the best teacher but it's what I have.  I will go forward, trust me.

I also did an hour and a quarter in the pool.  The (self appointed) president (of the pool) was there and the time just flew by, we talked about Syria and what is going on there.  He is very knowledgeable about the subject and this is the second person I have talked to this week that knew what they were talking about and explained things to me.

The consensus which I do not hear talked about on tv is that this is Christians being persecuted in Syria, persecuted and slaughtered.  We will not give them visas.  Why not?

My (many) liberal friends are happy with what we are doing.  I am not.  I read on Facebook the navy stating the ship my grandson is on will have their tour extended in this region.  I am not telling secrets, this was on Facebook.

(What I really want to say is "no boots on the ground" is total krap.)  I seriously want everyone in Washington replaced.  All of them.  Self interests and lobbyists and fundraisers, that's what they care about.  Well, I'd better shut up now before I say more than I want to put in print here.

Okay on to more pleasant subjects, today I get to see the duck!

And I still am loving the Wen haircare stuff.  I have used it twice now and the second time was even better than the first.  All I have used is the conditioning cleanser.  I have not tried any of the other products but I know I will.  Soon.

Have a lovely Sunday y'all.  I will too.

  1. Okay, I'll behave. It's hard for me to keep my big yap shut about all of this, but I'm so glad Sarge and my mom aren't here to see this mess!

My head is starting to look like Medusa, now that the gray is coming in like crazy. It's all wiry and I know it is gonna be a huge pain. Oh, well.
    Have a blessed Sunday!

  2. You know I don't ever discuss politics and that I refuse to watch the so-called "news" since the presidential election before last... but I do read. I agree with you... every single elected official needs to be replaced. And that's all I'm saying about that.

So I went to the gym Friday and my knee is a little hurty. Bugger. I did do a ton of walking during my shopping outing yesterday. That totally counts, right?

Have a fabulous day! big hugs xoxo

  5. Bee, Are you trying to confuse me? ...you know it doesn't take much. Your header says Sunday and you wished us a happy Friday. I am voting against anyone who is in office this next election, I am so sick of their crap. They do not want to get along. Have a good day with Duck. xoxo,Susie

  6. I LOVE Backgammon--can't find anyone to play around here :-(
As to Syria--it is a lose, lose situation. If we go in, it will probably escalate and there will be "boots on the ground". If we don't go in, we lose all credibility in the world and they will still keep using chemical weapons. I like what Sarah Palin said about the whole situation. "Let Allah figure it out".

  7. That's what is wrong right now Empress Bee. We have been forced into silence as they go about and do whatever they want. If we protest or disagree they call us a racist. This has happened in Europe for years and now it's happening here. Until we stand and speak loudly those crooks in Washington will do whatever they want. They are out of control and I'm talking both sides of the aisle.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs. :)

  8. Sandee is right.
Why is there fear in expression of opinion? Could we be worried about the N.S.A.?
The politicians do not listen to us.
But we got who 51% voted for.
Just wait there's lots more in store that we won't like either.
    Vote carefully on 2014.

  9. Bee, I don't understand the whole mess over there. But I supported Bush when we invaded Iraq because I truly believe the Middle East is a hellhole waiting to kill us, and I support, well, not Obama, but his stance for the same reason. And oh hell, yeah, let's get them all out and start again. Term limits. I was against them and not sure what I was thinking.
