Well our girl is doing better. She was released yesterday to go home so her hubby is coming for her and she doesn't have to come back to see him again for over a month. She is sure feeling better too, thank goodness. There is still pain of course, but it is so much less and she is eating good and walking and doing her exercises that he gave her to do. It's all good to go.
I subbed in a canasta game yesterday and did okay, didn't win any money but only lost fifty cents and had a nice time.
My friend that had the open heart surgery is doing much better too. I talked to her last night, she sounds great. It'll be a while but she'll be back good to go.
I am ready to really seriously tackle my closet when my girl leaves. It'll still be a big job but I am going to go through everything and get rid of mucho stuffo. I am only keeping size medium clothes. Nothing bigger. I hope. Anyway since some things are cut differently I'll have to try them on but there is going to be a big purge.
Have a great Saturday y'all. I will too. I'm going to the pool!
Buongiorno!!!
ReplyDeleteVery glad for the progress in healing of D#1...you had a full time with the event, but you were quite ready to do it...since last year you worked so much on yourself, you are a new Bee (and your will helped other friends/readers too!!!
Brava Bee, you are ok!!!
Big hugs, my girls!!!
Have a great Saturday!
Big hugs!
Hooray! Her recovery time with you was much shorter than you initially thought. So happy she can go home to her family to finish her recovery! And woohoo for you and your mediums! I've still got a long way to go... 8 more pounds to my halfway goal! I have made myself a promise not to go all crazy on my cruise. A few splurges, of course. Just not all the time.
ReplyDeleteHave yourself a perfect day! big hugs xoxo
All good news! Happy to hear it! Have a great weekend

ReplyDeleteI'm so happy that D#1 is doing so well and ready to go home. It might be difficult for the both of you when she leaves but then you can tackle that closet. Don't let that closet beat you my lovely friend. See you Bee.

I'm so happy your girl is released from the doctors care for a month. She can go home and rest there. Excellent. It's sure great that you had that online doctorate program completed.
ReplyDeleteI need to tackle my closet too. So badly. I think I have three sizes of clothes. Size 10, 12 and 14. I'm in 12 right now.
Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs from sunny California. :)
Woohoo...great news! Tell her I will be home Tuesday and will help her if she needs me. Srsly.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs from London, honey. I've missed you...
