So today I have canasta.  Yesterday was a quiet day, other than going to the pool I stayed home all day and did laundry, changed the beds, cooked, just stuff.  Nice and quiet and I even fell asleep in my chair before dinner.  Our girl is still doing great.

I saw a recipe somewhere for stuffed cabbage that was all chopped up, kind of a one pot deal.  Well I think I could lighten that up a good bit for a bee bandwagon recipe.  After I go to the store this weekend I'll try it.  I love stuffed cabbage but it's a pain to make.  This looks very clever.

Here's hoping for a great day for y'all.  Mine will be fantastic!  They always are...

  4. I can't stand the smell of cooking cabbage but my husband loves it. He has to order it the deli if he wants it!

When I had mastitis after giving birth to Jake, the nurse at the doctor's office told me to put cabbage leaves on the ta tas. I not only was in pain, I smelled like cooked cabbage! Ha

  5. BEE, I love stuffed cabbage, please post your recipe. I have almost gotten a bit lazy about cooking any more. I just make quick meals, or one pot meals...that's my favorite.
Did it ever occur to you, your daughter is a strong one ...just like her mom. Hooray for her recovery , coming along great.
Hope you have a good card game.xoxo,Susie

  6. I have a recipe I invented of stuffed cabbage, without rolling all those rolls--I cook mine in the Crock Pot. It tastes the same as the cabbage rolls.

  8. I love days that you can just stay home and get things done. Not everyday, but now and then. Relaxing for me and I feel like I accomplished so much. I know you feel the same way.

I'm glad our girl is doing so well.

I love stuffed cabbage. Bring it on.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs and hello to Roche. ☺
