Gosh, another rainy day but that's okay, I didn't have to go anywhere and I have done so much exercise this week I could use a day off so it's all good. Today will find the duck and me at the WalMart, it's tax free weekend so it'll be a madhouse I'm sure but it is what it is.
Things are progressing nicely with our girl's appetite and ability to get around and things. It's very easy now to do what needs done, she does a lot herself. She is supposed to be a couch potato though so it's hard to keep her down.
My video on demand went out again. I spent another two plus hours on the phone again and finally got an appointment for a tech to come on Monday. I get so frustrated with them. Even the really really nice lady I finally got after and hour and a half that promised to check something and call me back in 20 minutes - didn't. Frustration is my middle name now. One good thing, remember all my comcast problems a while back? I got that comment and email from a guy? Anyway I saved that email address and sent one saying what happened and I did get a call from them. That's where I got the Monday appointment.
So my world is about dull for the near future but it's fine, I am enjoying some down time.
Have a great Sunday. I'm in paradise so I know I will too...
AT&T had to put in new lines when we went with U-Verse. They used a contractor. In tearing out some concrete they damaged tree roots and killed a Crape Myrtle.
ReplyDeleteI called AT&T and told them I'd like to have the tree replaced. Easy, right? HAHAHAHAHA! Of course not. For days, I kept getting calls about downed lines in our yard, and the number that was left was one that shoots you back to the main menu. Argh! Love to meet you for a stiff one!
Glad for the good stuff in your life!
Well, crap on a stick about the TV issues lingering. I cringe whenever I have to call AT&T. I have them for by business lines and my cell phones. It's a nightmare every time.
ReplyDeleteYAY for D#1 feeling better. I really hope she doesn't push herself too hard and set herself back. They tell you to be a couch potato for a reason. She's a nurse so I know she knows that. But still. I have a sister who is a nurse and I know how she does... and she's having another yet another big surgery soon. Ugh.
Have yourself a lovely day with the duckster and D#1. big hugs xoxo
When we have problems with Sky (our internet provider) we have found that a simple "Put me through to cancellations please..." works wonders. ;)
ReplyDeleteBuongiorno!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice Sunday with D#1 and C...
We have no rain and everything is hot, I cannot go out during the dayhours, I wait for lots of rain...send some to us!!!
Big hugs!!!
I'm glad you enjoyed a day off from the pool and just relaxed. It's important to do from time to time.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy that your daughter is progressing well. To have her appetite back is excellent. When folks are eating well you know they are on the mend.
Sorry about the television stuff. I hate it too. You want to watch what you want when you want to. It's really very simple.
Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs from sunny California. :)
Such good news about your daughters progress.
ReplyDeleteWe all know even in sunny Florida you need some rain to help keep it so green and pretty.
cheers, parsnip
