You asked to see my bee jewelry so here goes.  I now put a bee on the chain of the necklaces I make too.  The pink one is the one I lost but later found.  I was so happy!  And the little one is the one from Paul.  The flag one is a Joan Rivers piece. I'm not crazy about her but I love the pin so I just said what the hell, just get it.  The red rhinestone one is from my red hat days.

My bee poker ring hasn't been very lucky but that might change any time now!

Yesterday I got on my bathing suit, my cover up, put on my sunscreen, got my sunglasses and hat and towel, and it rained.  And rained.  And rained.  And then it rained.

Finally I gave up and cleaned out my hall closet which wasn't even bad.  I am running out of things to do, seriously.

Before I'd just sit around on the computer and in front of the tv all day but now I have so much energy I just want to keep going.

So then I decided to get my shower, wash my hair, and get dressed for poker.  And then it stopped raining.  Buggers.  Rats.  So I missed my swim yesterday.

I got into a new mahjong game today.  I hope it works out because I miss playing maj.  And Friday I'm subbing for a gal in a canasta game.  Last night I lost five dollars at poker.  In that game it's almost a win!

So that's all I know for today.  Hope your Wednesday is totally tits.  I know mine will be...

  1. Because of my initial I. Have a couple of bee pins. I used to wear them to work so they'd tell stories; a cute frog underneath a dragonfly, a flower with a bee flying above it. Little vignettes and unexpected fun, especially for a stiff like me.

  2. I love your bees. They are so cute. It finally rained here in AR yesterday for about 30 minutes. It just keeps skipping all around us, and the farmers are really praying for rain. Hope you get to go to the pool today. I have a bushel of green beans to snap and freeze. Actually looking forward to it. When you get bored- sit down and write me an email. :)

  6. Bee, Thank you for showing us your bees. I liked them all. I like that you put one on the necklace clasp. I saw where Florida was in for lots of rain. We are in for heat and humidity and pop-up showers. I want to be happy it's summer anyways. I remember thinking winter would never end...so I want to enjoy these sunny days even if it's too hot to do much. Good luck with your games. How's the Duck coming along? xoxo,Susie

  8. I triple love the little bee addition to your necklaces! LOVE.

It rained at least 3 times yesterday. One was a torrential downpour! It may have rained more, but I went to bed before 6 and don't know what happened after that. =)

Enjoy your games! big hugs xoxo

  10. It rained and rained and rained and then it rained. That made me laugh out loud.

Thanks for showing me all your bees Bee. Too cute and I know how you treasure them.

  11. The weather is playing tricks on you. It happens. A lot of times when we start to hang out clothes on a bright, sunny day, the skies will darken and... sometimes it will rain. I've often thought that if we could get a portable clothesline, we could hire ourselves out to drought-stricken areas.

We couldn't do worse with our gimmick than any other, could we?

  14. That's quite a hive you have going. Hope you got to swim today. We had rain this morning. Just a light shower. Felt so good listening to it while snuggled up in bed. Had the windows open and there was a cool breeze wafting through. Made me smile. :)
