Well d#1 got here yesterday on time and went straight to bed.  The trip totally knocked her out.  She didn't even eat, just changed clothes and went to bed.  Poor thing.

Today is all the pre-op stuff so we'll be at the hospital.  Then the next day her hubby will be here.  And then the day after that it will all be over but the healing.

I am feeling stressed, I don't usually feel this way but I guess it's the upcoming surgery and all even though I have complete confidence in the doctors.  Anyway if I'm not around much in the next few days please forgive me.

And have a great Tuesday y'all... me too.

  2. ((hugs)) and best wishes sent to you and D #1's way for an expert uncomplicated surgery, quick healing and total recovery.
Totally understand why you want to take some time off this week. It IS stressful.

  3. She will be just fine!! She will have both surgeons in with her. She will be monitored at all times. They will give her magnificent drugs the first few days so the pain will be minimal. She has a lovely place to recover in, BUT I understand the stress you are feeling. We'd rather go through it then have to watch our kids in pain.

  4. I'd be surprised if you weren't anxious and stressed... You're a mother and your child will be having surgery. Don't worry about blogging/commenting, etc... although I do hope you'll update her status. I'll be praying for her.

    big hugs xoxo

Cara Bee, it's normal that you feel stressed, the operation will pass and you can get your courage again, for D#1...you always get your strenght again, as you always did, while you lived very difficult times...and D#1 will be well after the operation, and you all will feel better!!!
My positive thoughts with you all!!!

  9. Bee,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your daughter! Back surgeries suck! I just had my 5th back surgery a week ago. Nothing compared to your daughter but I can certainly understand the pain that comes with back pain. She is lucky to have her Mom with her! I wish her the best!

  14. Please Miss Bee...I was totally stressed out that my baby had to go the doctor at camp for a runny nose without me. Your baby is having surgery, so of course you are stressed. I hope the time passes quickly and that by the weekend you 'll all be feeling better. xoxo
