So the duck is taking me to the airport around 10:30 today.  To say I am nervous would be correct but I am going to do this.  I'm not afraid to fly, I'm just afraid to go by myself.  I am really hoping that after I get this trip done I won't feel this way any more.  I know it's silly.  One child is taking me to the airport and the other is picking my up on the other end.  I know, it's silly of me.  It's just new. I'll get it done!  Come with me and we'll visit Podunk again...

  1. Hooray!! I much prefer flying than driving. srsly. And think how much more comfortable the "new you" is going to be in your seat! Another NSV! Woohoo!

  3. I haven't flown much and only by myself once and that was way back in the sixties for work. The last time I flew was with baby girl, out of LAX, or as I like to call it -HELL! With all the rules and regs, I'd have a heck of a time on my own. Now, after all that negativity, I'm telling you, you'll be just fine! You've got more chutzpah than I do!!!
    Have a fantastic visit......

  11. The trip will be great. I love to fly. But I hate seatbelt extensions, ugh. Now you won't ever need one.
