Well I don't know if you will believe this or not but this is my first time ever pumping gas. Yup, never did it before. It wasn't even very hard! I just thought it would be! This is my fourth tank of gas since Sarge died 17 months ago. Imagine that, four tanks of gas.
Today I am getting my hair done. Can you tell I need it?
So the duck's knee update: First we went to Dr. Wacks who examined him and made us an appointment with an ortho guy so we went there next. He took some fluid out with a needle and then gave him a shot in the knee and another kind of brace. If it's not better by Monday he'll need an MRI but hopefully that will do the trick.
Today is the summer solstice. In Riga, Latvia, it has become a recent ritual of great popularity for the summer solstice celebrations to go out and run around naked. If this is your idea of fun, go for it. I can't imagine I'll be doing it but then you never know!
Have a lovely longest day of the year. Do something special for someone else and you'll feel so good! I will too...
Bee, you are looking stunningly beautiful these days and no, it doesn't look like you need your hair done. It looks great to me.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how to pump gas either since I live in Oregon and it's illegal here.
Have great Thursday!
Julie
I've always wanted to go to Stonehenge and dance with the Druids--at sunrise, on this the Summer Solstice and my birthday :-)
ReplyDeleteI remember the first time I went to fill the car up, I drove into the petrol station and couldn't get the cap off the tank! I ended up with a queue of people behind me it was so embarrassing. Luckily someone came to my rescue and removed the cap for me. I never had trouble with it again thank goodness. Hope the Duck's knee improves. You look lovely in that photo Bee and honestly your hair looks good.
ReplyDeleteFolk are gathering at Stonehenge for the summer solstice, I don't think they dance naked though. ;)
There is a first time for everything! Never mind the pumping gas though, look at you! You look so slim and beautiful and your hair looks lovely too. You have great willpower and it has paid off.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to say, hope Chuck's knee improves quickly with the shot.
ReplyDeleteYou, my sister Lynda and my mother... how did you manage to never pump gas? They also never have to lift anything. I need these insider jewels!
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks great for needing an appointment! And you look great. Just look at those tanned, toned-up arms! I sure hope the cortisone does the trick for the duckster.
Oh... and I lost anouther .4 of a pound. Color me happy!
Have a lovely day. But if you run around nekkid, I wanna know about it. bahahahaha! big hugs xoxo
Dang, I go through four tanks a month! By the way, you look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSend my hugs to OCD. I'm sorry he has knee woes. I hope he can kick this issue to the curb.
Make it an awesome day, Miz Bee...
You look so lovely in this photo! Hope Chuck heals quickly.
ReplyDeleteYou're a big girl now!!! And looking mighty good. I filled up BOTH cars this week. Dick has himself a good woman:)
ReplyDeleteSure hope the duck's knee gets better. Pronto, and no surgery.
Big hugs, honey...
Run naked, me never but I wouldn't mind watching the lovely young girls running around. My heart would race but who cares. Ha,ha,ha.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the Duck. I hope he gets better. About pumping gas, MaryLou always pumps our gas. I haven't done for years.
By the way, that photo of you looks wonderful. You look young my gorgeous friend. You better watch around the gas pump. There might be some men looking at you. Have a great day Bee.
Paul
Wow, you look wonderful! So slim, tan and beautiful!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope The Duck feels better soon!

Lynn
Miss Bee you look FAB!
ReplyDeleteSrly!
Sarge would be so proud of you.
First thought after reading that this was your 4th tank of gas in 17 months was " wow Bee doesn't have to worry about gas prices"
LOL
You look very pretty, and I couldn't tell that you needed your hair done, it just looked like the sun was shining on it/you.
ReplyDeleteSarge would be very proud of you:)
It gives a sense of accomplishment to realize that what you might think is hard actually is easy when you try it. Makes you brave to try other things when you are ready as well.
((hugs))
You look absolutely fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI used a tank of gas a week and so does Ken, so that is 104 tanks in a year. No wonder our cruise fund takes so long to build up.
ReplyDeleteI pumped my own gas for years and now hubby does all the gas. It's not that hard though.
ReplyDeleteYou look fabulous!
Okay on the Duck's knee. Hope it gets better soon.
I'm not going to be running around naked either. Not my style.
Have a terrific day honey. My best to Roche. :)
You look very cute pumping your own gas Miss Bee!
ReplyDeleteCiao B.

Ha ve a lovely week end!
I live pretty close to everything I need so I maybe fill up once a month. Can't remember the last time I filled the tank. Gas is very cheap in Tucson so I'm lucky.
ReplyDeleteI think You look wonderful and your hair looks good but like me when it is short you need to have it trimmed more.
cheers, parsnip
Bee -
ReplyDeleteYou need to move here to NJ - state law, employees of the station have to pump the gas. Every time I have to fill up in another state, I forget and sit there waiting.
BTW - (to quote Billy Crystal's Fernando), "You look... mahvelous!,"
Happy Summer Solstice
Jon
Bee, I think you are gorgeous. I know filling the tank is a bother. I always hated to pump gas when I was all ready for work and had on my perfume...i did not want to smell gas. hope that works for Duck.xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteYou look FANTASTIC!
ReplyDeletemeant to tell you yesterday, yoo look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteIt's not so hard to pump gas, just a bit of a nuisance. A minor one, though. Yes, you do look great. Hope the cortisone shot does the trick for the Duck. I had one about 2 months go myself. Plus MRI, X-rays, etc. severe arthritis in both knees. :-(. Not surprised, though. So I'm being extra careful and will be getting more shots in the future, I'm sure. Anyway, I hope you have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou look fantastic in this picture! Like you are doing a ad for a gas company!
