Look who got himself sunburned because he wouldn't listen to me and get in the shade. Now he's whining about how much it hurts.  I rubbed some baby oil on him and that shut him up though.  What a pistol that one is!  He sure rules the roost around here.

I also was beading again yesterday.  I'll show you soon what I did, love it actually.  I got beads from a friend, she has fabulous beads.  I just like looking and touching them.  Guess I'm weird but like I said yesterday, I'm not nuts, my mother had me tested. (smile, again)

I might be going to John G's today, depends on what time Sandy is going to be there.  She's here for the weekend and I'd love to see her but if not I'll be in Podunk in two weeks and see her then.  That will be my first trip without Sarge.  It'll sure seem strange but I want to do it.  I have done lots of things on my own lately, getting out there a bit finally.

So that's it from paradise today, hope your day is tits.  Mine will be whatever I decide to do!

  3. How ya Bee. Finally my mother may get a bed in nursing room that she wanted and we can finally slow down and get our life back together. I really need to be myself and mom will be happier then how she's been in the hospital. She's been worse and the hospital people realized that they could no longer help her any more.
I'm going to my daughter's home this afternoon. Every year she and her husband have a Father's Day BBQ with both father and family. Looking forward to it. See you later my lovely friend.

  4. I think it's really good that you are doing more and more things on your own. It's a healing process, for sure.

  5. Dear bee,
You have been incredibly brave, resolute, courageous and wonderful in how you have gone out and about since Sarge died. Obviously you grieve, obviously you will always miss him, and yet you are wonderful and classy, and determine to enjoy the life you have nonetheless. Very admirable to have such backbone and zest for life.

    ((hugs))

  6. Roche is young and he has much to learn. With your positive guidance he's learn things just fine. He's a stubborn little devil though.

If you see Dick and Sandy give them a hug for me. Love those two to pieces.

I know you've done lots of adventures on your own of late. I applaud you for that. Many do nothing and that's really sad to watch. I know you have rough spots, but you rarely talk about those anymore.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs from sunny California. :)

  8. Yay! You two have fun! Tell Sandy hello. Be careful handling Roche. Sunburn hurts and makes ya cranky. I know firsthand.

    Make it a great day!
