I swear living up here in the sky it is like a never ending painting changing continually.  Dear Sarge SO loved to sit on the terrace and watch the changing skies and the storms move in and out.  So peaceful to sit there and watch.

Yesterday I got going in the pool and did ONE HOUR of water jogging!  A whole HOUR!  I was pretty stiff last night but loved it and plan on going back again today.  Hopefully this will start my weight loss again.  I get stuck so easily and I really have not eaten badly at all.  I have gone over my 1200 calories a few times but not enough to stop losing.  I think it get slower when you are almost done and also when you are older you don't lose as quickly.  Anyway I shall continue until I am done.  17 more pounds.

Yesterday we went to Publix instead of the Walmart.  It really is much nicer but more expensive.  Neither of us needed a big order so it wasn't bad though.

Hope your Monday is totally tits.  I know mine will be...

  6. You have such wonderful views from your balcony. I love to sit outside in my garden, when weather permits, watching the birds that visit. Water jogging is great exercise, hope you start losing weight again soon, it's so annoying when you try really hard and still don't lose. x

Way to go on the hour in the pool. You'll get those last 17 pounds off. I've no doubt.

We're still on our boat but will be heading home today after a wonderful weekend.

  9. Good morning Bee. I'm having a problem with my weight. I'm losing but a week later I gain and back and forth. This thing with my mother in the hospital is causing this but I don't know how to handle this problem of back and forth weight. It's frustrating as well as frustrating my mother situation at the same time. Things aren't easy any more. I don't want to continually gain. Oh well it's my problem.
Have a great day my lovely friend.

    Frustrated Paul

  10. Maxfield Parrish. That's the name of the artist that always comes not-quite-to-my-mind when I see blues and oranges and clouds like that in pictures of the sky. This morning, though, the name actually popped in... I just double-checked with Google to make sure I hadn't misremembered. That happens, too, unfortunately....

  12. I would join you sitting and staring into your view! I do that on the farm as well, sometimes too often and then wadda know, I'm sidetracked! I agree with Curmudgeon, Parrish's art is what I think of when I see those beautiful colors... I love the blues and salmon oranges. Pale orange was always my favorite color in my box of art pastel sticks when I was a youngster and had the where-with-all to be an artist.

  13. I miss my high-rise view. I've had several folks who tell me that the last ten pounds are the worst and it's slow going. Don't be discouraged. Just think about how far you've come!
