Friday and I'm off...

Oh my gosh these are some beautiful animals!  Budweiser was in West Palm Beach yesterday and I was lucky enough to happen upon them.  Lucky me!   I really enjoyed seeing them.  They were in front of Publix on their way to the liquor store but they stopped for photos.

It's still not going to be warm enough to swim, maybe by Monday it might hit 80 again.  That's my lowest temperature to go in.  Even though it's heated now you still have to be able to get out

Somehow I seemed to have gained a tiny bit of weight.  Buggers.  I shall rid myself of it post haste. I am not going to go backwards and I have done nothing to deserve it.  In a few weeks I'll be on a cruise and probably will gain a few pounds then so I sure don't want any now.

I should be hearing back from Daniel about the apartment soon.  I hope.  Anyway no news yet.

Guess that's about it for today.  Hope your Friday is as good as mine because mine is going to be totally tits.  Count on it!

  1. Enjoy the day, Bee! I bet it was cool to see those Clydesdales in person. They are huge, but so gentle.

I'm up watching Grey's Anatomy and will be headed to bed soon.

  5. Oh my! How fabulous! Yes, they are gorgeous! Just don't walk behind them. hahaha!

Don't sweat the tiny gain. We fluctuate several times a day which is why I only weight myself at the same time when I first get up and sit down with my first cuppa coffee. I had a nice little surprise this morning which sure beats the buggers out of that plateau a few weeks ago. For sure!

Have a lovely day off! big hugs xoxo

  6. They are beautiful!! So glad you got to see them in person.

Don't sweat the gain, it happens. Could be muscle build up, not even fat at all. Just saying!!

I am stalled. But haven't been doing my 100% best and I am sure that is related. I am going back to tracking and paying more careful attention. I don't want to get lazy. But I am getting bored with my food options/choices. Time to shake it up a bit! I am missing the fresh veggies that we can't readily get anymore.

  9. How fun. I would love to see these beauties in person. They are so impressive. Lucky you.

We are having a front come through California that's bringing some rain, but mostly cold weather. The snow level will be 2,500 feet so you know how cold that is. We're still going on our cruise to Rio Vista though. We're boaters first. It's going to take more than cold to keep us in our slip.

Sorry about the weight gain, but things happen. You'll peel it off. I know you will.

Have a terrific day off honey. Big hugs. :)

  11. Oh enjoy your day...
I love the Clydesdales what truly lovely animals.

When it is cold outside and your in the pool just be sure to only walk that day so the upper part of your body doesn't get wet. I wear a long sleeve tee-shirt. It helps.
Warmer weather soon for you !

    cheers, parsnip
