My SMD for yesterday... (stupid moment of the day). The inside of my coffee mug is black. You remember Sarge bought a Keurig coffeemaker? Well you have to put a coffee pod in first. I didn't. I couldn't see that it was only hot water and added my milk (1%) to the cup and wtf? Then it hit me, I made hot water. Buggers, start over. Anyway it was very good once I got some coffee in there!
My latest with Siri (we are not getting along too good): "Siri, will I be able to go swimming today?" "Bee, let me google that for you." And she googles how to swim. It seems if I want to know if it's going to rain I have to ask her if I need an umbrella.
You see I want her to be completely real and she's not. I can't get my brain wrapped around that. I have always treated inanimate objects as animate. Now I have one that actually talks back to me and she's so damned dumb not responding to my liking. I must be patient. Not my strong suit but I'll try.
Today is canasta and poker. I have not been winning at poker lately, maybe my luck will change today. I don't care if I don't win, I'd just like to break even. But if I can't do that, well then I'd like to win.
And a pillow update for Jon: I finally slept on it for the first time last night. It was okay, not great but okay. Happy? Ha ha ha.
And that's all I know today y'all. Hope your Tuesday is tits. I know mine will be!
DAO much? hahahaha!
ReplyDeleteI made a lovely cuppa water myself a few weeks ago. And there were witnesses.
well, then I'd like to win? bahahahaha! Yes, indeedy! You crack me up!
Have yourself a winning day at canasta and poker! big hugs xoxo
I have no luck with her at all. Maybe its me, or maybe its the fact that the slightest of background noise makes it impossible for her to process my request. And she is constantly driving me crazy when I say, Call Markie. She starts dialing Mary's. really? Because they sound soooo alike! lol.
ReplyDeleteKeep trying, she might be trainable yet!
My Siri is a moron. I asked her to call my bff. She said "I'm sorry I don't have a number for Jane Smith." She lied.
ReplyDeleteMy husband can't stand when I ask here anything while he is within hearing distance. It is much faster just to google it in safari!
I'm always forgetting to put the tea bag in my cup but I do realise straight away as the inside of my cup is white - easy done.
ReplyDeleteLaughing about the coffee...I would do that, I'm sure. Except that I don't drink coffee. But I can see it happening if I did! I don't know that Siri and I would get along either. The grammar stuff bothers me too much. Hope you win at poker, but have a great day regardless! Hugs...
ReplyDeleteBee, I have made entire pots of hot water...LOL. I usually set the pot up for the next day... Remember when cars started talking, like door ajar stuff. That used to scare my best friend so much.:):) Oh makes me laugh thinking of it. Enjoy today and kick butt at poker girl. xo, Susie
ReplyDeleteI've made a whole pot of hot water before and then I have to wait for the real pot of coffee to brew. We've all done it honey. Bugger.
ReplyDeleteSiri sounds like a mess if you ask me, but she's great blog fodder. Just saying.
Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs from chilly but sunny California. :)
I had one of those moments the other day when I didn't even PUSH the #$*& button on the Keurig and thought it was broken because it didn't do anything. OE - operator error.
ReplyDeleteKeep us posted on the pillow. I need a new one and had been wondering if you were happy with your purchase.
Big hugs, honey...
I laughed at what Susie wrote about talking cars. My Mother had one and one time my son, who was about 5 at the time, heard it say - a door is ajar. He said, Grandma, how can a door be a jar. He didn't know the word ajar!!
ReplyDeleteHe only knew pickles came in a jar!!
Oh my... no coffee. Not good at all. Glad you were able to fix that. I'm forever talking to my inanimate objects. Bart is my new frenemy. He calls me fatso.
ReplyDeleteIn 20 years, maybe, Siri's technological great-great-great granddaughters won't be so dumb.
ReplyDeleteBut then they'll probably be scary.
I agree with The Curmudgeon. The amazing and likely incredible is yet to come!
ReplyDeleteMy Tuesday is tits.
ReplyDeleteThe end.
Haha! That dumb Siri!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good time tonight and get some wins :)
Hugs from Ohio,
I.
