Don't tell me the Bee Bandwagon doesn't work because it does! One year and 68 pounds gone. 272 sticks of butter off my a$$. Could I even lift 272 sticks of butter? And yet I took them everywhere I went. No more. Thanks to my sweet Sarge and Dr. Wacks (and a bit of effort from me as well) it happened. My next goal? Thirty more pounds in the next year. Walk more. Continue to eat healthy and exercise. And toss in a cupcake every once in a while for good measure.
Want to come along?
Awwwwwwwwwwwww..... so perfect you look Fabulous !
ReplyDeleteI'm starting a diet (?) for health reasons to hopefully reduce inflammation from the fibromyalgia and possibly the help the Valley Fever ? It will be gluten and nightshade free.
These are the foods I like, eggplant, chilies, potatoes, wheat blah blah blah.... all the good stuff.
Why can't I give up chocolate, beer and wine... which I don't eat or drink.
Hahahahaahahaha. I never bought into that I am woman I must eat chocolate hype anyways.
I look at you and see what you can and are doing and I hope to do as great as you are.
You will have to start calling yourself "The Fabulous Bee"
Square Dog approved.
cheers, parsnip
Oh, yes! Yes, it does work! As of this morning I am .2 away from 20 pounds or 80 sticks of butter off my A$$. That will put me at 20% of my goal as I set out to lose 100 pounds. I know I probably won't achieve that goal but I'll get pretty danged close. I didn't set a time-frame, other than 1-2 pounds a week. I'll keep pecking away at it, or myself, until I arrive.
ReplyDeleteBut yes, once you determine to change your life, change it does.
Have a YAYful day today! big hugs xoxo
You have done brilliantly Bee - I'm so proud of your achievement! I'm taking a leaf out of your book and desperately trying to lose 14lbs before my holiday at the beginning of December, that's a loss of less than 2lbs per week I'm sure I can do that. x
ReplyDeleteYou are BEAUTIFUL!!!!

ReplyDeleteI am so very proud of you as I know Sarge and your family are.
Thanks for bee-ing you! And for showing us what a little hard work and determination can do!
My life is changed, my daughter will have a Mommy that is healthy and happy. My husband is noticing, and commenting and complimenting. Something he hasn't done in a few years. Love is blind... but only to a point.
Healthy and happy is sexy! Thank you for giving me my life back!
I'm still at 5.5 pounds gone, but I'll take that. I'll keep working at this too. My big achievement will be going on the bay cruise next week for 12 days and sticking to my eating plan. There will be food everywhere. Everywhere. I can do this.
ReplyDeleteI'm so proud of you. One day at a time. That's all any of us can do.
Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs, and know that I love you bunches. :)
Congratulations, Bee! What a remarkable effort you put forth. What I really like about how you've done this, is that you've really made a conscious effort to eat well, exercise and make good choices. You didn't starve yourself or alter your anatomy to get there and because of the behavioral changes, you'll keep this weight off. Excellent work!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! How amazing. You should send your story into Weightwatchers Magazine!
ReplyDeleteAlways beautiful, but glowing more these days. Life is good!
ReplyDeleteMs. Bee, you are awesome! And you look wonderful! Reading your blog not only cheers me up, but also helps keep me motivated in my own weight loss journey. I can't wait til the day we get to cruise together and I get to meet you and give you a great big hug!! I wish that I lived near you because I love the water and would go to the pool with you every day and work out with you. Thanks for being the amazing person you are!
ReplyDeleteBig Hugs!
