My oh my...

There just never seems to be a dull moment in my life.  Take this for example.  I went down to the pool after my errands and there was a new woman there in the water.  I sat in the shade and read while I waited for her to get done because, well, I'm a pool hog.  Anyway in about ten minutes she got out so I think, oboy, here I go.  I am causally jogging back and forth across the pool, one way I can see her, the return trip I can't.  I turn around and her (whole) a$$ end is out!  I mean all of it.  And all I can think of is rats, my camera is way over there on the table.

I make another loop and when I turn around again her whole titties are out.  She is completely nekkid there.  Now before you get too excited I'd guess she's about mid 70's or so and pretty plump so it's not exactly eye candy for anyone.

She slowly dried off, applies sunscreen, and puts on a dry bathing suit.  String bikini no less.  Then she lays in the sun and closes her eyes like she's alone in the world.

Well I'm here to tell you the next time I see her getting out of the pool I am not going to get right in.  No sirree-bob.  I'm getting some photos first.  I have no idea who she is, I have never seen her before.  But I've sure seen all of her! Ha.  It was like a train wreck, I just couldn't stop looking.

They I came upstairs and cleaned out some more of my closet, 2 drawers and one section of tops.  I have a huge bag ready to go to the goodwill.  Baby steps, I know.

In one of the drawers I found some letters Sarge had written to me from Viet Nam.  That's the problem with email.  The letters are so much more permanent but the emails are so fast.  Sometimes it took several weeks for a letter to get to me.  There was no such thing as calling, no one could afford that, I think it was $45 a minute if you could even get a call through so we didn't.  Times change, they sure do.  But I wouldn't take anything for those letters.  They will always be mine.

So that's about it from my world today y'all.  Hope your Tuesday is fabulous.  Mine sure will be.

  1. All I can say is .....
    bawahahahahahahahahahahahaha !
I would have been laughing so hard... your pool is not the French Riviera !
I can't wait to hear how the officers of your building handle this one.

How nice to have the letters from Sarge !

I do use e-mail and skype to my family in Japan but I send real mail the most !
There is nothing like holding a real card or letter in your hand. I have a box of my mother letters (worth more than gold) and little notes my from when my children where little saved too. When daughter was at University she would write me letters when on the bus to her job or shopping. Any letters, cards or postcard my sons send are all saved !
    I treasure then all.

I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday also !

    cheers, parsnip

  2. At first I was thinking you meant you wouldn't go in right away because she was nekkid and maybe you wanted the pool to be purified with chlorine before you got in, but NO.... "I'm getting some photos first." bahahahaha!

    I just love you.

And love letters are precious for sure. $45 a minute back then... what do you suppose that would be in today's dollar?

Have a lovely day poolside! big hugs xoxo

  3. She was naked???? :0 What on earth was she thinking???? You must take your camera with you next time, thought thinking about it would you be able to show us, it might be against blogger rules????

  4. Buongiornooooo!
I'm laughing....a naked unknown lady in your pool...perhaps she thought you were scandalous...and she was normal!!!

    Have a great, funny Tuesday!!!

    Big hugs!

  5. Just stripped down, dried off and put on a dry suit--like she was in a dressing room or something? My word!!! Mid '70's--does the word Alzheimer's come to mind?

  6. hahahahahahaha!! thanks for my morning giggles

I wonder if Akelamalu is right - would it be against blogger rules?

Too funny, Bee! You could blur out parts of the pix, if you get my drift.

Have fun today, whatever you do ;-)

And those letters..they are more precious than gold.
I have some from my father from when I was away at college. I know what you mean.

  7. Ha.ha,ha, Oh my goodness Bee. I can't stop laughing with story. Did this woman think that she was in her bathroom? That little picture was cute but the real one would have been funnier.
Wasn't it wonderful to find a letter from Charlie. It must have made your day.
I have to go to my eye doctor this morning. I'm not blind but I;m having some little problems with my eyes. I guess it's age. We'll see.
    Have a great day Bee.

  8. Oh, my! Whatever was she thinking? She's lucky you were the only one there. :-) I understand about the letters, they are treasures you can keep. I have a few in my mother's handwriting that I wouldn't trade for anything. I don't write letters as much as I should but hopefully my scrapbooks (with my handwriting) will be keepsakes for my children. Have a great day!

  9. Only you, Bee, could have such an adventure just going to the pool! That was precious!! Yes, definitely keep your camera in hand!!

I worry that in generations to come, they won't have the history we have b/c there will be no letters telling the story of the past.

  10. Bwahahahahahaha. I thought you were going to say that you bleached out your eyes when you went back to your condo. I'm not so sure I want to see those photographs though. I'm just saying.

I love you just as much as Barb does.

I know what you mean about letters. I've a few myself. Priceless they are.

Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs. :)

  11. My eyes are hurting and you didn't take a picture. Yikes!

But what a nice observation about your letters.

  12. Ha-ha, that's ballsy of her. i admire that! Not a care in the world, strutting around nekkid to enjoy the sun as though it's her own private pool in her own private backyard! Oy:)

You definitely have to take pictures. Too funny. maybe she has Kate Middleton fantasies?

Baby steps are all it takes to get your closet cleaned out. You're doing it the right way because its getting done.

That's sweet you found a letter from Sarge. He (his soul) keeps letting you know he's 'there' with you still:) And always will be!

  13. I guess I know the topic of discussion at the next condo association meeting. lol

  14. Oh my goodness! If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were on a beach at St. Martin. Hahahaha!
I love letters! Sweet, sweet Sarge :)
    Hugs to you from Ohio,

  15. OH MY that is all!!

    Big Hugs,

  16. hurry, bleach those eyes! I love letters....Wish I had some.

  17. are you really gonna take her picture??? are you gonna blur out the .... what do you call "those" parts?? do it do it do it do it

  18. Bee, what treasures those letters must be.

And LOL! Are you sure she wasn't a relative of the snack thieves? I cannot wait to see pics!

  19. Oh dear!

    Letters from Sarge? Precious:)

    Big hugs, honey...

  20. Those letters are priceless.

Your pool story leaves nothing to the imagination. Even so, I can't wait to see the pictures!
