It's October already...

I'm not sure you can see them but this tree (and most of the rest of them) are full of coconuts.  There must be 25 or more in each one.

These are the parking spots at our condo.  Who plants coconut trees where the coconuts will fall on cars?  Seriously?  My car is under a carport thingy but this is my second spot.  Lucky for me I only have one car, huh?

Gosh it was a pretty day yesterday and the pool felt wonderful.  There were two other ladies there so when I got done they got in and we just lounged in the pool and chatted a bit.  Very nice.  It sure doesn't feel like October in my world.  (Thank goodness!)

I found my copy of Photoshop Elements and installed it on my computer yesterday.  Frustrating.  I seem to have forgotten all I knew about it.  Remember when I used to doodle?  Now I can't even do that.  I have to take some quiet time and play with it I guess.  Have no fear, I will relearn it.

Don't know what I'll be doing yet today, no appointments and Monday is the day I usually make them so guess what?  Another day off!  Maybe I'll do some cooking again.  I like to make food for several meals and only cook a few days a week.

So here's hoping all y'all's Mondays are totally tits, just like mine...

  1. Oh, doodling! I miss your doodles! You must bring them back!

I used Photoshop to do my profile picture. Many, many layers. Actually, I owe my doodling interests to you, come to think of it! :)

Somehow or another I managed to NOT leave the house all weekend. So now grocery shopping. And I must get myself there so I can cook. I am craving my rigatoni and I want to try a chicken fajita recipe out!

Enjoy your day off! I hope orders keep me too busy to get to the store!

    big hugs xoxo

  5. Got rain here, but at least yesterday was beautiful for Joy and her family.

Oh yes, pretty dumb to have coconuts falling on cars. Duh!

    Big hugs, honey...

  6. Bee, Whenever we see a car covered in birdpoo...we say they must be parking under a tree. I can't even imagine what a bunch of coconut droppings would look like. LOL I love having some extra cooked things to pop into the microwave. Enjoy your day. xo, Susie

  7. Oh, I love PSE. I have 9, but am thinking of upgrading to Lightroom. Soooo wish I could afford the REAL Photoshop, but its just too darn expensive.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me. I will do my bestest to help you out. What version do you have?

I would def. not park under that tree. Our issue this year is acorns falling everywhere, doesn't bode well for a quiet winter, so the old wives' tales say.

    Have a great day!

  8. Coconuts where you park your cars. Are they looking for lawsuits? I'm guessing someone had their head we...you know. Not a very wise decision.

I remember your doodles. You did them almost everyday too. Way cool. I shall be watching for your first doodle.

Have a terrific day off. Or not. I can't see you doing nothing today. You'll find something fun to do. Big hugs honey. :)

  9. I always look for shade in which to park the car (birds or no). How many weeks are the coconuts dangling? Can't be too many, right? So for those weeks maybe I park somewhere else. If I've got a convertible, I leave the top down. Maybe I'll catch one of them. They're supposed to be really healthy.

Unless they hit you square on the noggin, of course.

  10. That was very poor planning about the placement of the trees!

You'll learn Photoshop elements again, and end up having fun with it again. Toys like that are great on the computer.

Lucky you to enjoy the pool still! How great to live in a place that has one heated all year round!

    ((hugs))

  11. CiaoBee!!!

Our car after the earthquake is out in the place under the Pyracantha, its fruits are so small, no issue for the cars!
I hope you had a great Monday off!!!
    Have fun on Tuesday!

    Big hugs!
