Sunday in paradise...

This is old Chuckie duck from last week, I haven't been able to see him yet this week, maybe today we will go grocery shopping.  He's been a busy guy!  I've talked to him on the phone though.  Goof ball!

As I was coming back from canasta yesterday I saw my friend that I sometimes swim with and she and I got in the pool for about an hour.  I was totally wiped out when I got out.  I could barely heat a weight watchers meal.  I had every intention of cooking a turkey burger and baked potato but could not do it.

My friend's name is Trudy and she is on Quick Weight Loss.  It's very expensive and you have to buy a bunch of their stuff but she is having good success with it and likes it.  One of my MahJong gals goes there too.  She told me it's over $2000 but I don't know what that includes.  I'll just stick to what I'm doing and be happy.  She goes there every day too.

Forgive this for being so short but I am heading off to bed.  This will post at midnight but I won't be up.  Have a lovely Sunday.  Me too.

  3. Oh, my! You bopped 'til you dropped! Me, too. Except for the time frame! Almost any given night it's all I can do to stay up until 6:30-7:00. If there's a special occasion going on or visitor I can manage a bit later. But not everyday kind of days.

I know that many people do better in a group or with lots of structure and support. Clearly, I am not one of those people. Plus they say losing a lot of weight quickly is not safe. You didn't gain it quickly, after all.

Chuck looks marvelous! So, SO good! And not just his weight. I mean his eyes and face look so much more relaxed. Content. That's a very good thing!

Have a lovely day! big hugs xoxo

  4. Stick to your own diet plan--eat the foods you like, not some packaged stuff from their company. You are doing great and having marvelous results!!!

  6. That (2G)includes a lifetime membership and all the nutritional supplements and protein snacks and stuff that you need to hit your target. I liked quick weightloss, but it is strict as hell! The nutritional stuff supplements are great. Before you start the actual diet they detox you from carbs. You can eat as much meat as you want, but you can ONLY have raw green vegetables, (all you want) for three dyas prior to starting. I was just about a basket case by the time I got on the real diet program. But I have been of of it a year, and I have gained back all but ten pounds of the thirty I lost. The thing I HATED about it was them calling me several times a week to come in and weigh and check blood pressure. For me that was annoying while I am trying to work.

  7. I like the way we lost our weight ... Slow and steady. It will be a year for me October 31st. That is the longest I have ever followed any plan. I feel like I won't go back this time. The longer you do something ... The more it becomes a part of your life! The end.
    Chuck looks amazing.

  9. Oh my goodness. Chuck looks fantastic. He's bound to bet a girlfriend looking like that. You and him have been doing a great thing. I guess it's about time that I start moving my ass and losing some weight. After looking at you two, what else can I do except doing the same. I'm amazed with the photos of you two. Congratulations for doing what you've done. I'm disappointed on myself now. See you my lovely and talented friend.

  12. An hour in the pool will do that to you. Great feeling though. Hopefully you slept well.

  13. I don't need all the support either, or cheerleaders and stuff. Just tell me the basics and off I go. More exercise and healthier choices. Easier said than done.

Sorry I'm so late this weekend. I didn't have Internet yesterday. Bugger.

    Have a terrific day. :)

  14. Chuck looks great, but on first glance at the picture, it looked like he had gigantic ears. When I looked closer, I could see that it was just 2 people in the booth behind him.

  15. That's a lot of money to be told they should do exactly what you are already doing, and doing well. Just saying!!!
