What a lovely day I had yesterday. It started with this sunrise and went uphill from there. I could see this from my bed by the way. Isn't that something?
Next the duck picked me up and we shopped and went to the fruit stand, the Walmart wasn't even bad. I got lots of turkey and plenty of fresh veggies and fruits. I made the stuffed peppers again, I only made one the last time so now I am making four and freezing three for easy dinners with low sodium and low calories and great taste. I'm finally getting this cooking for one thing down.
It was sunny and really warm and so then I went in the pool. Three of my gal pals were there so we all did our water jogging and talked and the time went by so fast. Afterward I even stayed in a bit longer just lounging around on my noodle.
Then I read a bit while I dried and came upstairs and cooked, blogged, watched a bit of tv, and rested some.
And Big Brother was my evening fun before I went to bed. Oh, and there was this sunset too.
Was that a great day or what? Hope your Monday is totally tits. I know mine will be.
Sounds like a great day to me.
ReplyDeletecheers, parsnip
Big Brother is almost over. :(. They are idiots for keeping Dan around. Ian may actually go tothe end!
ReplyDeleteYou are blessed.
ReplyDeleteOh, that really does sound like a lovely day! And YAY for having gal pals at the pool with you! I wish I could see sunrise from my bedroom, but my big old bed blocks the only two windows in the small bedroom! That will soon be changing! Although I still won't see sunrise as the sun rises on the other side of the house. But still. :)
ReplyDeleteAl & Barbara are out of town for a bit so I am cooking for one again... My parents aren't eating much of what I fix because they NEED the fat and calories! So that's me... Cooking for one again.
Have a lovely day! big hugs xoxo
PS. I keep forgetting to tell you I love your favicon you've just put on the blog! Cruising... I wish I was!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Bee. I'm going to try to have my blood test this morning. Hopefully the right guy is there. I thought my clock was set for 7:00 but to my surprise after my shower I realized that somebody set my clock for 6:00. I wonder who?
ReplyDeleteThat's OK. I want to start getting up earlier in the morning. Now I know an idea to start my blog today. Have a great day my wonderful friend.

Gorgeous sky! We had a doozy yesterday, but I was too slow getting in the car to chase it. We had a going away party for my nephew yesteday. he is in the PA National Guard and being deployed shortly. Kuwait, I think. We will miss him, he's a great young man. Has a beautiful 8 mo. old baby girl. Breaks my hear that he won't be here when she turns 1 in December.
ReplyDeleteLove the view from your bed--what a great way to greet each day!
ReplyDeleteSounds very pleasant indeed.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great day! Love the sunrise, and being able to see it from your bed is even better. Time with the Duck, pool fun, good shopping, and your favorite tv show - sounds like a winner! Have another good one today. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely day indeed. You certainly deserve these days everyday. Just my two cents. You views are awesome too. I loved Florida when we were there. I could see myself there in the winter. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day honey. Big hugs. :)

ReplyDeleteI wish I had that view from my bed...our window overlooks the diner parking lot next door so we just have a blackout curtain up.
