Well the new cushions for the terrace furniture arrived as I told you and here they are. Before they looked like the footstool, just beige and 12 years old. The duck thinks they are "gaudy and tacky" and basically hates them. I thought they'd brighten up the terrace a bit. I am very limited as it gets high winds. To refresh, below are the two chairs I got from Home Depot. Please tell me your honest opinion. My feelings will not be hurt in any way and I'll take them back or ditch them if they are that bad.
Well I reached another milestone yesterday. I walked the Walmart. Now I admit I did not go in every aisle but it was a good hike for me and then I got home and still did my 45 minutes in the pool.
There was an eight year old boy named Michael (and never call me Mikey) in there already so I decided to make the best of it. I have never seen him before, his grandparents live here. Well to make a very long story somewhat short, he worked out with me and we became friends. He wants to "make a date to swim with me again". He wanted to know if he could just knock on my door. I told him it was best if he didn't because when I go in I get my bath and put on my pajamas. He told me most "old people" go to bed early but he likes "over 60". Quite the little rascal!
So it's the start of another brand new week. Isn't it lovely how that happens? If you had a rotten week last week you get to start all over new and make it a better one. I love that.
Several of you have told me that I have motivated you to get healthier. That makes me so happy I cannot tell you. I am using My Fitness Pal. If you decide to join I am empressbee (no space) and you can friend me. Then you can see what I eat and the exercise and the progress. The duck is also on there. I am finding it very helpful and most foods are already in their data base. It tracks all of your nutrition and you can see what you need to change to be more in line with your body's requirements. Most things I have used before just track the calories.
Go out and make it a fantastic week. I will too...
